I say:

Head coach of The Idaho Stampede.
Numerous NOLA, LA, and AAU connections for recruiting

I think he would be a great land for the Tigers

LOL, in 2 or 3 years ? It better be sooner than that. This guy has had long enough. Time to go.

He just got a commitment from a 4star wing player from John Curtis tonight. If he can sign a top 20 class and finish with 6 conference wins hes not going anywhere after this year

Bruce Pearl would be my first choice but I'd also be open to RL taking over...but not traveling Tim Floyd, tired of all these uptight coaches Floyd ,Brady,TJ...we need some someone like we have in our other sports (LM AND PM)... a players coach

whats your point. LSU is a much better job potentially than Memphis with the right guy. You don't have to go against Tennessee

You really think he should be kept if he wins 6 SEC games? I know he only won 5 the past 2 seasons but he is in his 4th year I dont think LSU should let Trent keep his job by lowering the bar. A decent coach should be able to go at least .500 in the SEC by his fourth year. If Trent cant we dont need to lower the bar just because he has been horrible the past two seasons!

I like TJ and I hope he works it out

I like Andy Kennedy at Ole Miss as a possible replacement

I agree with you now that I think about it. Just get a young energetic guy that can recruit, has connections with Houston and Louisiana AAU programs, and is a guy players will love to play for and be around

Probably not. Fedex gives that program whatever it wants and the town loves them.

Pearl is gone and Memphis is a more prestigious program than Tenn.

I was being generous and not wanting the knee jerk "why you talkin' bad about LSU"?

I seriously think Randy can be the man.

Maybe so.... I just think the SEC is a better conference. The Memphis guy I think would be a good fit IMO. I am amazed people think if TJ wins six games next year in the conference he will still be here. NO WAY he is still here if that happens, IMO opinion he needs to get in the NIT to even have a shot at keeping his job. Which I don't think will happen either..who knows.

Did Livingston ever get his degree? He left LSU after two years... I believe it's a requirement for most major coaching vacancies.
