I feel this would be the most sensible play. He can play himself into a higher draft pick with another offseason of preparation and an SEC West that I would imagine LSU would be one of the favorites to win.

I also believe this has lots to do with the way the rest of this season pans out. For example if we win out and appear in the SECCG I could see him being a mid round pick.

I could only imagine how good he would be if he returned next year though. With a whole year of preparation and a lot of younger guys being more experienced on the OL.

Sure, why not. Not even on draft radar. Needs to play another year. Not at pro level right now.

well if the reaso. he doesn’t come back is because he absolutely goes off the rest of the way, we win out, and he shoot up the draft board, then i’m ok with it.

Which he won’t. Dude cannot see the field or read defenses. He’s at the mercy of a receiver getting WIDE open and even then he takes forever to throw, and when he does… he misses.

How does 90% of this board not see this.

Do you really think Howard will start next year if Daniels comes back? No way that happens.

I mean if he has 5 and 6 touchdown games every week from here on out then he might have a real decision to make but as it stands now he would do well to come back.

You’re one of the dumb shits that said Jayden couldn’t play better huh? He’s getting better and better. Not perfect, but better. Go Jack off a back up QB some more.

In his last 3 games he is 76 / 105 for 897 yards with 6 tds and 1 int. It’s pretty obvious to see how much potential he has and how much he has progressed through the season so far. He started slow for sure but you are willfully ignorant if you don’t think he is becoming a good QB.

If he keeps playing like he did at Florida and against Ole Miss, I’d say there’s a slim chance he comes back.

Stop quoting the stats. They don’t tell the whole story. BTJ and Jenkins passes tell the story. He will get eaten alive by the secondary if he pulls that against Bama. Hopefully we tailor our offense to be short 5-8 yard passes, which he still throws behind the receivers. Maybe they’re getting better at expecting that.
