Stayed til 2 minutes left in 4Q. First game I had been to since Arky 2021. East side of lower bowl stayed most of the entire game, west side was dreadful. At some point, gotta cut some student tickets to make for more regular admission to try to keep a full stadium. I’ll never understand spending your own time and money at a place to leave after the first half. Other than that, game was awesome and everybody was real friendly in section 212. First time ever sitting on that side, and I will be making it a permanent spot.

In a lot of those cases, the people leaving aren't the ones paying for the tickets.

This is simply not true.. sat on the West Side and the East Side cleared out way before the end of the game

The students have filled their section every game this year. They stayed until the very end of the Arkansas game. The percentage of students leaving during the 2nd half of the Auburn game was far less than the rest of the stadium. The east side upper deck had whole sections empty the entire game.

Why would you reduce the number of student tickets? Student tickets completely sold out and freshmen were limited to only one of two packages for half the games.

What makes you think non-students would stay?

those were probably the visitor sections, and honestly no one would want to sit there in the sun.

Student section always gets crapped on, but people somehow don't realize that the student section is general admission so they all cram down into the lower sections leaving some of the top sections looking empty, even though a higher percentage of them stay at the game than the regular crowd.

Both West and East sidelines were about the same. Probably looked worse in the NW when students started to leave, but there was a fairly even amount of people leaving from all sides.

The traffic is the problem. LSU is cheap and won't fix it.

If they other sections empty early how does this help?

That won’t fix anything. Not sure about how Saturday was, but the student section has been much better about staying into the 4th quarter.

And I assure you the east and west were both fairly empty in the 4th.

Why screw the students? It’s their school, and their classmates on the field.

The stadium is too big now. There are better options than sitting 150ft above the field to watch a game you can’t even hear.

My solution is signs all around the lower bowl that say if you abandon your seat after halftime, you forfeit it for the game. I would put signs in the uppers that say after the halftime, you may move to vacant lower bowl seats.

Isn't this what happened with basketball in the PMAC and then we had fans complaining that the students weren't close enough to court during Wade years?

I don’t understand staying til 2:00 to go… if you stayed that long then what is 2 more game minutes. The players have to play 60 minutes, why can you not give them your respect and cheer for them for 60 minutes and not 58.
