It's really going to be interesting to see how plays having been geared up for 3 weeks now. You know he's going to be jacked beyond belief. Will that translate into a few of his honey badger type takeaways, or will Bama take advantage of his over agressiveness? Can't wait to find out.

The HB was not recruited by Saban.....too small......The HB will play with vengence against Bama for this reason......to prove to Saban he can play small-big.......

Do think he'll create more personal fouls (against himself) than he gets?

I agree with that as well, can't wait to see how he comes out. IMO, he comes out in Honey Badger form. He might get bit by the Cobra, but he will awaken and resume eating, He don't give a shite!!!!!

I'm the biggest TM7 fan on this board, but it's kinda hard to get excited about him if we're in a 4-3. I think his best game is @ Nickel. I hope he proves me wrong, but I don't see him making an impact as a true cover corner.

I don't see him playing that in this game at all. He will be roaming all over the field, this is what he does the best. He will be on TR like the Honey Badger is on a Cobra.

The reason he was recruited was because of the way he dominated bigger WRs. He's not going to force as many turnovers, but his cover skills are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO underrated by people on this board...it's ridiculous.

The few games he has played true corner he looked good to me. He gave up that 1 big play where he actually tipped the ball and the guy still caught it but besides that, lights oput.

Maze is their only WR better than average. None of them are real big. I would expect him to make an impact.

Let's hope you are wrong and he gets an interception like he did against Florida.

As much as I like Mathieu, he won't be the best player on that field. He isn't even the best cornerback on our team.

Anyone who truly believes that doesn't know much about this team and gets all their info through ESPN, like Desmond Howard.

Saban eventually recruited Trindon, although the staff had to convince him otherwise. When Miles came on, they had to convince him too.

I wonder how much effect Trindon having been a success had for TM7 to help him get the offer...

I love the honey badger, but it's tough to pick him as a sophmore over Trent Richardson, but with that said I'll take TM7 all day. It is rare to find someone who can make an impact like he does on defense.

Needless to say, Mo Claiborne got the huge interception return the next play. On the play you were referring to, Tyrann could have probably picked it off if he would have gotten closer to the receiver before turning around... made a freakishly athletic play just to get a touch on it, followed by a great catch by the receiver. He is so great technically that I think those types of plays are not likely to happen this week.

Back to the OP, Tyrann is not the best player on the field... but he may have the biggest impact.
