I think that we should keep Coach O and hire:

Everybody wants to poach BAMA coaches ... he'll Georgia almost tried to hire all Saban coaches offense and defense. AD's need to do their due diligence and hire what fits at their school instead of what works for BAMA . BAMA has Saban , that's the secret ingredient.

if all it takes is blowing out 3 bad teams to get the head coaching job at LSU we should probably have never fired Miles

Not as much as it seems like he did.
He won five games by 20 or more points last year.

What exactly do we need O for then? Just recruiting? A 3 million dollar recruiting coordinator who needs a great staff or we're screwed? That sounds like a bad hire to me. That basically sounds like a cheaper Miles who's cajun.
What about when Aranda leaves to become a HC? What if Sark says "No thanks. I'm the OC in waiting at Bama". What then? In O we trust?

O is not part of the equation. USC used him as an interim because he has prior HC experience, and he's a rah-rah guy who minimized the give-up following the firing of the coach. They didn't even string him along to try to keep him on staff; they told him "no thanks".
He's serving the same purpose here. I'm sure he wants to get the job permanently, but he doesn't merit it. Not on past performance, not on potential innovations based on his ideas. He's just a recruiter and a good D line coach.

...so in fear of a "failing hire", you'll stick with a coach who has failed MISERABLY as an SEC HC simply because he won a few games. Unreal

Kirby is now the Georgia coach. That he'd want to bring coaches with him doesn't translate into "Georgia just wanted to hire a bunch of bama coaches."

I hope all of you get back to the asylum before curfew. What great head coach does/did not have character flaws....Bear/Saban/Petrino/Woody/Switzer.
Tom Herman is not the coach for LSU - Hell, he would lose to Saban 60-0 if they played next Saturday.. Orgeron would beat Herman 9 out of 10 times. He would beat Jimbo 6 out of 10......and he will beat Saban with a decent OC and a good qb -which are coming
