have started my mornings with this site for many years now. Very quick way of knowing whats currently going on with LSU. Scott has maintained the excellent coverage that he and his dad have displayed for years. Remember it was Scott who got Dandy Don started on the web they worked together on it. that being said no one can completely fill Don's shoes. That much experience and football knowledge just doesn't happen over night. The man had contacts all across the state. He was the kind of fellow who never met a stranger, he had a knack of making everyone feel like a friend. Scott has done a great job in continuing the tradition. I greatly appreciate his efforts and will continue to follow the site with my morning cup of coffee.

Loved Don and miss him dearly. His son is doing an amazing job and it's been the first thing I read in the morning for the last 5 years.

DD is the second window I open; second only to the finance page to see how my money is growing. DD and coffee are staples in my life. I think it has actually gotten better, and Scott was writing for Don for quite a while before he passed away.

DD is also my first read of the day. I think Scott's doing a great service to the Tiger Faithful keeping the site going, and even moreso for keeping the same tone of optimism that Don was so good at. I think we're very lucky as a fanbase to have a site like that.

I read the Thanksgiving and Christmas stories every year as well. Great stuff.

I think Scott does a great job. It's the first thing I read every morning. I only discovered the site about 3 years ago so I don't know how much of what I've read was Dandy Don's actual writing since Scott had been doing most of the work for some time before his dad passed. It was a true rite of passage, and you have to give it to a man (like Scott) who worshipped his father.

Many of us were reading Dandy for a long time and remember going thru the heartache with his wife and later Dandy himself. Hard to find a better family and Tiger fan.

As far as Scott, he's taken off where Dandy left off. Dandy is smiling down from Tiger heaven.

Great job Scott and thanks!!!

First post ...

Someone left dandydon.com up on a computer in Middleton when I was a student in 1999. I read it and have virtually every day since then.

Big thanks to Mr. Don and Scott for connecting so many of us to LSU and recruiting for so long.

Dandydon.com is my homepage. The very first thing I look at every morning. Tigerdroppings always follows. Both are the BEST!!!

Can't start my day without them!

Still just as good, just with a different approach. For me, the most convenient way to get LSU news in a few minutes. Compare that with hours on the rant...

Scott is doing a FANTASTIC job. I "hear" his Dad when I read the current posts just as I have read them daily for over a decade.

Great job my friend!

I've been reading that site since 1999. Its the first site I read every morning. It was through dandydon.com that I learned about tigerdroppings.com. The rest is history.

I noticed the change in writing style, but thought very little about it until Don told us about the transition to Scott. Don and Joy are together again.

I knew Dandy well...would be proud of the Dodgers this season, also. He was one of a kind and is truly missed.
