Look replacing a Dandy Don is impossible with his love of the school, sports and integrity. That being said it is not hard to see the tree that Scott Long came from. He is doing a bang up job and probably does not get enough props. People forget this isn't his real job and he takes time away from his family to help LSU fans out trying to keep them up to date on LSU sports.

Yep I miss Don Long also, but I am damn glad that his son Scott is keeping the tradition going. Scott if do read this, thanks for all you do!!!

Gotta disagree. Don's son has taken the hand-off and run with it. More information, videos of recent games as well as historic games, better features. My go-to site every day.

Scott is doing an awesome job since taking over for his dad. He has added some great new features such as Q&A's with Mike Detillier. His dad,Don, would be very proud. Keep up the good work and keep this LSU tradition going strong. It's my first read every morning.

I'm kinda confused with the "just not the same"

Hasn't it been Scott ghost writing it really for Don's last years anyway?

My go to page first thing in the morning after I get to work....I was fearing after Don passed that the page would go "south" but Scott does a bang-up job and I appreciate him very much...Keep up the good work Scott...your Dad, I am sure, would be very proud of you and your work. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that's been the case for a few years, actually. It's been mentioned on DD before, I believe.
