I’ll buy into Herman when his success comes to fruition. He’s 17-10 at Texas and lost to some pretty shite teams last season.

with you.
until he wins with consistency, he is just another coach.

his LAST YR AT Houston, HE HAD THE BIG WIN w Louisville and had a 4 loss year. The year before was solid. up/down coach so far, oops caps !

Let them talk. I give Texas a advantage with it being in Austin. Teams on pretty even, should be a close game.

I think they’re losing a ton of talent. They’ll have good players but they’ll be very inexperienced. That should play in our favor for sure.

It’s gonna be highly competitive, but LSU will have the better, more experienced team and should win by at least a touchdown.

I choose neither of those Wisconsin games. We were lucky too win the one but the one at Lambeau field was pure torture to watch.

They lose 8 starters on defense.

Their defense is a big question mark that we won’t know about until game day.

Good question Rog.

Texas lost 70% of their team from last year. We will beat that arse

With that said Texas has been recruiting at an elite level and will be successful

I like when we play them. I definitely think we catch them in a rebuilding year, early in the season. I think we'll play them this year at the "least best" they'll be, assuming they continue recruiting at their recent levels. We're returning a veteran team and they have some pretty major turnover; with this game so early that should really benefit us.

Why does it matter what they say?

I’d stick to the facts. The facts are that LSU returns a lot more than UT.

I was at the sugar bowl. Texas is obviously well coached. I’m a huge tiger fan of course but it’s refreshing to see a disciplined team that executes crisply. Very fundamental but I don’t think they have the talent to keep up with LSU.

We will clearly be the better team on paper.

Anyone saying Texas wins big isn't being logical.

Can Texas win? Yes absolutely. Is it a certainty? Nowhere close. Can Texas win in a blowout? Possible, but highly unlikely.
