How do they truly match up with us and vise versa. They really believe they will boat race us. Obviously there coming off a big bowl win, so they think they are untouchable. What do they have returning and how do you see this game playing out? I can't see us losing this game if we come out the way we should with a veteran squad.

I’ll buy into Herman when his success comes to fruition. He’s 17-10 at Texas and lost to some pretty shite teams last season.

I get that they beat UGA but UGA did NOT want to be in their bowl game, it reminded me of Auburn vs. UCF in 2017, just complete apathy. I just don’t think Herman ever gets them to the point that a lot of people on here believe, Texas looked shockingly poorly coached in their games that I watched and I think the dude has a severe case of being a fricking weirdo. I think we roll them and they end up having a 2018-Miami-esque season

Isn't this kind of his MO? He wins big games and then shits the bed.

Texas fans are going to be Texas fans. They've had some success so they are going to talk all kinds of shite, deep steaming mounds of bullshite. Really you have to assume that their mascot is more of a representation of the fans than their team. They just stand there and the shite comes out.

When we beat them to start the season they'll all be calling for Herman's head on a platter.

I think they only return 8-9 starters? While we bring back what, 17-18... from a better team.

Austin will be rocking but I think we win by 2 scores or more. College football is just desperate to have a blue blood like Texas back that they’ll push a false narrative despite it’s obvious to see their team loses a lot of personnel.

LSU will be a MUCH better team than the one who beat Miami last year.

The Tigers will have better RBs, a more experienced OL and a better Burrow. The Defense will still be stout as long as Stingley shows up like we think that he will.

I could go on but the point is that next years Tigers will be a much better team than we have been used to lately. I see us winning this one.

Eh, let them have their fun. The media and themselves will pump up this game enough just like they did Miami, just like they did Oregon, etc. LSU will destroy them and the game will be over by halftime

This is exactly what I hope happens. Tons of propping Texas up while dissing on LSU so this team can come out ready to eat a body.

We'll have all our stengths back and hopefully get our DL into shape and ready to plow through that OL. We played with a NT who was basically hurt all season and without an edge threat from Chassion. Now that the coaches know we need another guy behind Chassion I expect them to get someone ready to go as well.

The offense should take some huge steps so if their secondary is even somewhat weak I think we will jump all over them to start the game. This might be the LSU is back statement game. We'll have a plethora of RBs and weapons at Joe's disposal that he didn't have this year. TE, RB, WR, back up QB, legit two deep OL and he'll have much more of the offense to work with.

We will be able to mix it up the way they wanted to mix it up this year and couldn't. More RPOs then ever. More quick strikes, more motion, more back field action fakes and hand offs. This offense could be very tough to deal with next year with the right pieces put into place. Defense will be stout like usual and the RS guys should be ready to provide some depth. We'll need them all.

I'm very much looking forward to next years team. People sleeping on O and this staff are going to be very very surprised IMO. Can't wait for it too.
