I met Donavaughn Campbell yesterday at my little girlssoftball tournament

He is a very large young man! Moffitt has whipped him into great shape, he is a very polite and very respectable young man! He told me coach O is the man, which we all already knew that. He spoke very highly of Drake Davis and the rest of our young receivers! He said he never got to really practice against Arandas defense,but all the practices he has done watched and the plus the spring game. He said this defense is very very fast and going to be very very physical. He said he's in the rotation at Guard right now! He also said it's unbelievable the speed and athleticism this team has. When I asked him how they was going to do the season, he just cut a big smile and said will be all right! Geaux Tigers!

Heard nothing but great things about him. Very strong kid. He'll be another great lineman at LSU.

Your title confuses me "I met Donavaughn Campbell THAT yesterday..." Which yesterday, this one or that one?

Gonna be a monster for us. He's exactly what we like at OG. Big, strong, mauler with a mean streak. I've said for a while that he will take over at the open OG spot at some point during the season.

I'm on record that he would eventually be a starting guard or tackle...now I'm curious where specifically Teuhema and Pocic end up...could Teuhema play right tackle effectively? That would solve a lot...

It was really cool meeting him and talking to someone who's actually on the football team and knows what's going on from the players perspective. Mike D, Jimmy Smith, Mike Dean, Jimmy Smith, and all the other sports talkers around Baton Rouge has always spoken very highly of this young man. He definitely pass the eyeball test, and he was a very polite young man. I just wish I would have had my son with with me where he could've met him too.
