I love LSU football but..

Im so tired of not having a decent quarterback yr in and out..Anthony Jennings is not the guy. ive re watched all of our games and all i see is a guy who is gonna hold on to the ball unless the receiver is open by by yards. if its tight coverage, he won't throw the ball although he still can fit it in...
is it the quarterbacks we bring in or is it les miles is the reason why we had no success... we can't blame the offense coordinator anymore. we went through gary crowton...some co coordinators ....the greg, the x offensive line coach on to cam cameron. and the offense still look pitiful. it looked best last yr and the 06 and 07 yrs

Les is known for his ability to manage quarterbacks. You can tell by how much he speaks with them during the games. Look at the remarkable job he did with JJ and JL. If it was not for Les, our quarterback situation would be a great source for concern. As a former offensive lineman, you can see how well coached our offensive line is by how much time they give AJ to set-up comfortably in the pocket. Our diverse and unpredictable offense also creates a great environment for the quarterback to thrive. If you were a QB, wouldnt you want to come and play for Les?

If you thought you could get a reasoned response by questioning if there is a problem at QB or with the head coach, as you can see from the responses not likely. The "fans" on this board are content with LSU football where it is and see no reason or desire to improve. I cannot blame Jennings or Harris for any of the problems with the offense. They are running backs and simply taking the snap from center does not make them a QB. The QB problem, and thus the failures of the offense, are due to Miles refusal to recruit real QB's who can throw. What you will hear in response to this is "what about Mettenberger". Yeah, Mettenberger was great when Miles finally cut him lose. The problem is, there is no Mettenberger on LSU's bench. As a result, no QB now and no QB in the wings for next year.
