But let's not forget about this guy Kenny Hilliard . He's been a great player and even better teammate. He's put in a lot of extra work this off season shedding weight and adding speed. For all of the those in doubt, KH27 will be a force to be reckon with this year. Can't wait to see all three of them in action behind our road grading O-line! We will average over 300 on the ground this year no doubt.

Oh wow, you just lost all credibility with your post with that last sentence.

Why because we will throw for over 300?

Not sure I would go that far. 300 is a stretch, but it's safe to say that they will rely on the run more this year and should have more rushing yards per game. They were over 200 yds/game, I could see them in the 250 range this year.

ETA: I'll be happy to average 300 yds/game in total offense

Wait... average 300 ypg? He would crush Barry Sanders' records.
My fault, I thought you said "he will average"

I have heard about his weight since he was a freshman, either he is not committed to stay in shape or he is just not as good as the other backs. But I hope he brakes out for sure.

Its possible I suppose. Probably 5 or 6 teams averaged that last year but that is a heavy reliance on the run.

I've heard he's down to 225.

ETA: And is trying for 220.

I really hope to see Hilliard have a solid year and do well for himself draft wise.

I agree. I still think he is a lock for 400 yards and around 6-8 tds. Short yardage monster.

sure hope he has worked on makin more than one person bring him down...seems like first little bit of contact he falls...now this is not every single time he touches it so dont think im saying that....i just hope he runs like he did his freshman year rather than the past two years

I recently talked to him and he said he's at 227 witch might be even lighter than his freshman year. He's been doing a lot of speed training on his own time and making healthier food choices. Either way he has a lot of motivation and will be a big time leader of this team.

And yes maybe 300 is a bit of a stretch 250 is probably more reasonable but I think in certain games we definitely eclipse 300.

Kenny plays better fat. He's like Jerome Bettis, not fast but most effective with girth.
