I enjoy the thanksgiving holiday too much to have it interfered with and likely ruined by another predictably putrid agonizingly awful game. I'll be at in laws house and all they know is that I'm an LSU fan and will wonder why I don't want to watch my team play while we're all gathered around for the meal. They aren't close enough to the situation like my family is to relate. Just makes for an uncomfortable situation.

So you love thanksgiving more than you love LSU? Um, okay.

I guess that's your prerogative and all but whah exactly is your problem here?

Why would a football game ruin your thanksgiving? Sounds your priorities are in the wrong place

I'm sure they'll be very concerned.

Best of luck fighting thru all that tension. We'll all be worried about you.

You eat too late. By the time LSU come on, I would have eaten and napped, twice.

Either you are a fan or not. I schedule my sons AAU games around LSU. I am glad we are playing on thanksgiving . I don't want to wait until Saturday to play, or even Friday. The sooner the better.

So you and your in-laws don't know each other.

It's not mother and father in law its cousin in law's and other extended family. They are only casual fans but usually football is on and LSU will be one a featured game. I do prefer friends and family and holiday traditions over LSU football. Sorry about that.

I can't remember playing on the day but that Friday after was always Arkie and my brother and nephews would come over in their gear and we usually didn't play well, Sucked.

So what are you complaining about?

If you'd prefer to spend time with family and friends, then it shouldn't be an issue for you.

I agree that I don't like it on thanksgiving day, but only because it makes it hard to leave family and go. We'd be at the game if it was on Friday like normally played.

But to say it's going to ruin your thanksgiving is just stupid.

Having LSU on Thanksgiving is a bonus if you ask me. turkey, dressing, pumpkin pie and LSU football. doesn't get better than that unless you count seconds and a victory.

Idc for it. I'd rather watch NFL on Thanksgiving day. If we look terrible again, I will likely change the channel to an NFL game. I haven't changed the channel on a LSU game all year, I even watched arky till the end, but I can't watch much more of that bullshite Les Miles is putting on the field.

I will be at the game... Gives me a good reason not to eat Thanksgiving with any of my crazy arse family!
