Long process of trying to find out what, if anything, he was aware of. My guess is that he didn't, but he will be presumed guilty by association unfortunately.

Yes I feel bad for the victim and her 2 kids who are now going to grow up without there mom and dad. If lael was involved he is a dumbass and needs to be locked up but if he is innocent he missed out on a special night.
