The guy obviously has wheels and can run.
He's quick and he's got a strong quick release.

I was watching Fla play last night between games and their qb made a ton of throws underneath and to the sidelines, 2-3 step drop get rid of it.

Lsu for some reason feels the need to throw the ball all way down field on pass plays that statistically aren't high percentage completions for any QB.. Much less BH.
I just don't understand the philosophy of throwing the ball that LSU has. You think they are dominant now running the ball, imagine how things would look with just a slight improvement in the air.
It's frustrating bc this team would be really tough to beat.. Currently I don't see us making it to Atlanta in December the way things are going.

Lsu hasn't trailed this year.
What are we going to do if you're down by 10-14 in the 4th quarter.?

We'll see how it all unfolds.

Well for one, those shorter passes in the middle of the field have a higher chance at getting picked off. Also, there's been plenty of times where we've thrown the ball 5-15 yards and the receiver just dropped it. It happened a handful of times last night alone.

Ok once again philosophy.. We are scared to throw the ball across the middle bc of the threat of an int.

I don't get it.
How is this not an issue for the other 100 plus teams in college football?

Because they don't have Leonard Fournette to hand the ball off to. Why take unnecessary risks when you have the best player in the country you are taking carries away from?

BH has the pressure of the entire college football world on his back. Every sports analyst has something to say about LSU's future "if" BH can improve his passing. We have the best RB in 20 years and every comment ends with a BUT...and is referring to Harris. He looks like he's pressing too hard and the coaches are not helping. I'm wondering WTF is wrong with them. Shorten the passing game and let the kid gain some confidence. His WR's are not helping the situation. That drop by Dural was as bad a drop as you will ever see. Right in the hands and it's not like he was running full stride. No excuse for that and he's not the only one.

I'm pretty sure that everyone would have taken 5-0 (assuming the McNeese win) even if that came with a struggling BH. If the team quit as easily as some of our pussy fans...we would be fricked every year. It's embarrassing to read some of the shite from our fans. If BH is failing as a QB...lots of our fans are failing as fans. One task is much easier than the other.

Did you not see Harris try to throw intermediate passed last night? He was off on 90% of them. When he did make a solid throw, it went through or off of our wrs hands.

This is just my 2 cents. Last night was the first game that BH has missed on numerous passes. Even then he didn't start missing until the drops started adding up. I think Harris is trying to hard to make the perfect throw in hopes that they receivers can catch it. He has lost confidence in his receivers IMO.

Cam is a garbage play caller

Run some screens, slants, and quick outs

Every pass does not need to be a go route or seam route

Harris threw a 15 yard out last week against Syracuse and it was a thing of beauty.

That is what his coaching tree he comes from calls for. I believe it is Miles not allowing him to.

Coaches appear to have 0 confidence in the passing game. In return, QB probably has 0 confidence in QB coach. George Whitfield said Harris was a phenomenal talent. So whats the common denominator in all of this. Cameron gets ahold of Harris after he comes back from San Diego and everything goes tits up.

Absolutely! Those plus inside hitches and slants is what BH will have to be able make successful. We do this, this offense will not be shutdown by anyone, including Bama.

AS long as Miles and Cameron are at the helm, we will always be below average at QB... I have learned to live with it now.

Then why not hit his checkdowns? Twice earlier in the game, Fournette was wide open in the middle, but Harris decided to throw to covered WRs. Is he not seeing them, or is he just trying to make the big play? Fournette was open on a 3rd down, then a drive or two later, he was open in the endzone, instead, Harris throws to covered WRs. That doesn't seem like less trust, it seems like too much trust, trying to do too much, or not seeing the whole field. Mett use to do the same with Beckham even when he was double and triple covered. We have the exact opposite of what some teams hate. They hate a QB who constantly checks down, we need one to at least know how to check down.
