Lee looked best out of playa action.
Got us out of endzone twice.

Saw him look off defgenders couple times.. knew exactly where to thrwo the ball.
Solid effoet from a 5th yr guy that seems to be in control and comfortable.

LEADER.

yeah he's going to make some dumb passes, but i think the play that is the defining one is when the MSU CB jumped the screen, lee waited,
The one I liked was the pass on the far sideline that went just over the DB's out-stretched hand.

It was a pass that Lee stepped into, and definitely a needle threader.

The one area where he can improve is his panicky response to pressure. He's great on the quick stuff and when he has time, but when he feels just a little pressure and pulls the ball down, he gets indecisive.

I think that will improve as he gains more trust in the o-line and it could be a special season.

I'll quote myself from another thread:
quote:

Really? 21-27, 1 TD, 1 int. That's a pretty damn good stat line. Believe it or not, Moo St.'s secondary is likely the 2nd best we'll see all year, with Bama being #1. They have a talented and experienced secondary. Lee did work last night. I still am undecided on his 1 pick. It looked like a read for the WR and Randle took the underneath/sideline throw and Lee wanted to go over the top. I think it was just a bad read/decision by Lee.

Lee played lights out last night with the exception of the pick.

Lee played a pretty damn good game last night. I certainly hope that he continues to play at a high level.

I enjoy watching the LSU offense going more vertical like LSU started to do year last year. I especially appreciate the OC calling more play action passes.

I take it as a huge sign of progress. In a few short weeks, haters have gone from never wanting to see him on the field to dissappointment in him not having a perfect game.

Change your mind on Lee's ability to lead us to a special season?

He made big plays down the field. It took a good game from the QB to win the game. I don't see this changing one bit even with the insane defense we have. Lee will need to continue to play at this level for us to stay in the hunt for Atlanta.

#12 Did what he is suppose to do. Thats all I want him to do, Manage the game like Coach Stud and Coach Miles ask him to. Don't make dumb mistakes that can cost you the game. We don't have to put up 500 yards and 40pts a game to win. Good game lastnight! Excited for the victory and look forward to playing WVU!

Not sold yet, but he is playing well.

He is the best option available to us right now.

I'm not sure. LSU started lossening up towards the end of the season last year.

I guess it's probably because Krags and Stud prefer PA more than Crowton did. Crowton preferred a package based offense. Krags and Stud seem to prefer to set plays up.

Maybe because they now have a QB that can actually deliver the ball downfield?

You just need a JJ/JL debate, don't you.

childish.

Just let it go.

I think the debate is only in your mind. Whose the one that's not sold on Lee? Lee has done very little to warrant what you and JustMe have heaped on him the last couple of years. To even hint that we may not be better off than the sacks of '09 or the lack of TDs in '10 is unfathomable.

I didn't heap anything on Lee. I don't bash him, never did. I have merely pointed out facts. I have merely proved that so many of the arguments lacked foundation. I never used the term "pick six" to describe Lee.
