Bama didn't stack the box last year but those safeties were involved in run fits depending on formation. Go back and watch the game. Safeties making plays near the LOS a good bit. LSU has to take advantage of this by using the TE down the seam and using 3 WR sets to force a safety out of run fits. They could technically still have 8 guys against the run but that would leave all of our WRs in man coverage with no help over the top. Either Chark or Dural would have an advantage going deep in that situation.

PA won't be effective until we can prove we're able to run on them. Safeties aren't looking into the backfield when you're running for 2 yards per rush.

That's what I'm saying. The run won't be established unless we can threaten with passing early. Once we get them on their heels then we can run more and play action deep.

U are right about little time. Thing is we don't need PA cuz they gonna sell out on the run anyway. So the matchups will be there for us to exploit. ? Is can we win em and execute.

What makes me happy is that for the first time in a long time I have absolute faith that the coaching staff is thinking about this and devising a plan!!
