No matter what the shortcomings, we need both QB's. Stop being a dick to BH. He is a good kid. Every player goes through a slump, happens to the best of them. No way I am comparing him to Manning, but that dude god benched in his final NFL year.

Be supportive and cherish our TIGERS

People are just tired of absolutely shite play from QB's, Harris just happens to be the one there when everyone is hitting their tipping point. Running off the field and not shaking hands or singing the alma mater with the rest of his teammates also didn't help him any.

I'm with you. I posted this in another thread. Etling has to start. And he has to have a long leash. But we cannot afford to lose Harris mentally for the rest of the year. He will be needed. They have to find a way to pick him up and find a role for him, so he feels good about himself in case he winds up having to take back over.

I understand the frustration, I am part of that crowd. But coaches made the change, now lets just leave the kid alone.

I will absolutely support any tiger on the field, and believe we will need both.

I am however disappointed in the way Harris handled himself post game. He does not support Etling as Etling appears to support Harris.

Etling came here fully expecting to be a backup unless his # was called bc of offensive woes. I'm convinced Harris wishes failure every time the Etling led tigers take the field after how he walked out on the team. That shows he is more worried about himself than the team

Yet you make a thread to draw more attention to him.

Yes. We need him. All his confidence came crashing down on Saturday. Its time to help him heal and regain that confidence. We have no backup if Etling goes down.

Care to explain?

You think if we win 14-13 with a struggling Harris Etling runs to the locker room pouting instead of taking part in the team celebration?

Obviously it's harder to swallow losing your spot and watching the backup move the ball than it is for the backup to watch the starter do so. But damn I hope Harris pulls it together and stops acting like a spoiled child.

I do think he's a good kid and I'll pull for him, but he's been struggling simple as that. Work harder and take advantage of the next opportunity, which will come, instead of pouting and ditching your team that actually had fun scoring points

Nothing would make me happier than Harris storming back and turning the offense around. Until then whoever moves the ball plays. Deal with it

I don't think anyone is hating on the kid.

What is the team and fans suppose to do? Wait for Brandon to get it back and suffer losses? That's not a team attitude

I am sorry...but what are we going to need Harris for?...he cannot play to a high enough level...cannot throw the ball with touch...does not have the mental components to make defensive reads and adjustments....etc....get McMillan or Scott up to speed....at least McMillan showed touch on his only pass....Harris to scout team...then transfer....no upside potential here

That was not my intent. I just want to end all this bitchfest and show some support to our tigers. This week should be all about positives. We made huge strides. Lets hope we build on that.

Because as fun as it was watching Etling move the ball he still isn't a sure thing.

If I've learned anything about football it's that you never really know what will happen. Harris looked night and day compared to Jennings against New Mexico State in 2014. We gave him the reigns against auburn and he fell apart.

I think we will need both before it's over. Similar to how Jamarcus and Randall both had their games in 04. We don't win 9 regular seasons games with only one of them that year.
Ex: Russell saves Oregon state, Randall saves UF
