wow...really didn't think he would go in 1st.

Really makes Miles/Crowton look bad. Why put all your eggs in the basket of a "good" QB prospect and an apparent can't miss baseball prospect? Horrible gamble gone bad!

Losing Bedrosian too in the next pick is all the horrific!

Frick!

Listen you have to have this type of kid in order to compete in major College sports. You win some you loose some. If we did not sign this kid when we had the chance too and he ended up somewhere else then everyone would calling Les and idiot. A no win situation he still may end up here he really wants to be a QB he would make more money in the NFL than in MLB. JMHO!

I think he is coming to LSU he has already said he wants to play both sports in College and he wants to be a TIGER!

Dont make excuses on this. Granted Lee hasn't signed yet, but Lee was the ONLY high profile QB to go in 1st round.

We didnt have the luxury to take a flyer on him imo...at least not without another quality signee as a back-up. Sam Gibson is not an adequate backup plan IMO.

Now we have dick!

Thanks Les

At least we won't have to listen to rantards calling for ZL to start all year long.

He will have to take the money (over a million obviously) due to his draft status. It is obvious that Lee has made it clear to MLB that he would play if drafted very high. Sorry to see him go, but he is gone.
