We will be fine on defense. If a kid wants to play in the NFL you pick up the phone when Les Miles calls. I'm worried about not being able to recruit on offense.

I respectfully disagree w/ the 3 or 4 number.

Minter, Mingo, Montgomery, Reid and Logan will all be taken in the top 50 picks (Mingo top 10 and Reid and Montgomery top 20-25 at worst).

Wing lost a little luster from 2011 and probably wants to go while his stock is still high.

Ware and Ford's stock isn't getting any higher and Hill is probably emerging as the #1 back (although it will still be committee, he's your stud).

Logan probably could've improved his stock by coming back and Faulk is a head scratcher for sure.

It's been said that Simon has a kid or two so he needs the $, but he could've improved his stock by coming back.

So IMO, only Faulk, Simon and maybe Logan should've stayed.

So the other top SEC schools don't have to drug test nor go to class? Only LSU's players have to do that, huh?

I don't blame the offensive players at all. If you have a chance of getting drafted, Go. They have a higher chance of hurting their stock then helping by staying in this inept system.

Exactly. They've got to jump on those bonuses.

Nothing I hate more than someone pointing out a positive fact about the team I love.

Those SOBing "sunshine pumpers" REALLY piss me off!!!!!!

I wish they would just go support another team so we can be bash the shite out of our team in peace. Who the hell needs facts and that dumb reality thing anyways? The hell with them all I say!!!

I strenuously object to your line of questioning.

So our defense, top 20 for sure, but not good enough to slow down Ole Miss, Mississippi St, or Clemson is full of players that just have to take the money. Yet, defenses like Alabama and Stanford, who dominated way more than ours did, have players that shouldn't grab those bonuses?

Well if you strenuously object, I'll reconsider . . .

I think most people recognize that when we lost to Bama and had no shot at the SEC title, our team went a little flat. Hard to blame them, IMO.

Plus, I think about 6-7 of these guys knew they were out the door, so they mentally checked out.

I think it has something to do with Miles. His arrogance and bad coaching. Especially in the last two bowl games which really puts a damper on their whole feeling and willingness to stay.

The whole TigerNation was dramatically effected in a negative way by the teams performance from January 9, 2012 to December 31, 2012. It has to effect the players also.
