Usually when you get to the super regionals the talent level is close so the hottest team makes the best run

Or the best coached

I've seen the current LSU coach lose to Stony Brook, Houston, and Coastal Carolina at home in the postseason. I've seen the current coach win 1 of his last 5 games in Omaha. I just don't have any confidence that this year will be different.

Its not all luck, you have to position yourself well during the season and hosting regionals a lot. But usually once you get to the supers, the talent level is close to even, then usually the hottest teams make a run.

So once the talent levels are close to even, what is the deciding factor? Could it be coaching? Because if you work to position yourself well during the season and regionals, why should coaching all of the sudden stop once you get to the Supers?

Sure, we've been consistent since 2009, not gonna get any arguments from me there. But why is it that we look lost once the talent levels are close to even like you say? Why is it we look totally outclassed once we get to the Supers sometimes and Omaha all the time? Those other teams don't recruit as well as we do, those other teams don't have better facilities than we do. The only thing to point to at this point is the guy with the high pitched, sweet voice and the glasses in the dugout.

And before a couple years ago corbin and vandy were made fun of for never being able to get over the hump to omaha, and now that he finally did, and they won one, he is considered one of the best.

I didnt use the word outclassed, you did. I dint think we have been outclassed against stony brook or houston or coastal. we lost close games to each. Tcu last year we were outclassed IMO.

I didn't say that you used the word. I implied it myself because...

stony brook or houston or coastal.

Outclassed us. Those teams shouldn't ever beat us in a series. Let me say that again, those teams shouldn't EVER beat us in a series. I don't care if they beat us 1-0 on a suicide squeeze in the ninth, we should never be in that position.
