Obviously you go with Skenes tomorrow and presumably come out with a win in this scenario.

You then throw Floyd on Sunday and are up 4-2 heading into the 6th and Floyd is starting.

Do you bring Thatcher in to close them out?

Been thinking about this and I know it’s just a scenario until it isn’t but I think I would!

Yes absolutely. Win when you can, and worry about the next game later.

This was my same thought process. Honestly a decent chance it plays out like this too. I’m pumped.

That would be great and I hope it plays out this way.

Kentucky will do everything possible to get to the bullpen early against Skenes. I wouldn't be surprised if he only goes 6-7 innings against them.

Skenes is also coming in to relieve/close on Monday if needed. Watch.

Skenes is on a mission. He doesn't throw too many bad pitches. Hopefully the ump doesn't squeeze the strike zone.

If we win game one and are up 4-2 in the 6th in the second game…. You commit to winning any way possible. So yes you’d easily pitch thatch!

Based on what we’ve seen all year I’m not sure how anyone that has watched a single start by Skenes could think this. I mean the man has at least two long term contracts of a 500 million dollar arm that’s not overused and has no major injuries……trust me he’s going to keep doing what he has been doing.
