That’s why this team is 3-12 in the SEC.

All three have been a massive disappointment this year. This team would look a lot different if they had made the expected jump. It’s really that simple.

For Hurd to go from starting national title game to not seeing the mound against Tenn is pretty bad
Unless he has an injury Jay hasn't speculated on

on top of that he is giving Moffett and Cam Johnson innings to try and keep them out of the portal because pitchers who can throw 95+ are a premium

Outside of the small window in the post season last year, Hurd had been below average his entire time here.

You can't point only to them.

But, all 3 of those guys were counted on to take a significant step forward.

2 took a step backwards. 1 looks like he'll never take a step forward.

You left out Neal and his .97 SEC batting average.

You guys keep forgetting to mention Braswell. His defensive struggles have to figure in this bad season somewhere !

I don't think anyone would be complaining about Neal if he were hitting .97

As much as I hate to say it. But I'm glad Hurd is shiting himself. Last year he got too big for his panties and caught a attitude.

Welcome to the crash and burn team buddy..Maybe now you will stop looking down on the fans who support"ed" you and become more humble

I think you can go down the entire roster and find issues with everyone except maybe Holman.

Neal - can't hit anything outside of mediocre pitching.
Jones - leads in Ks (expected), and hasn't come through much in clutch spots.
Milam - struggling against SEC pitching.
Braswell - defense has been abysmal
White - hard to believe just looking at his numbers, but he's actually having a down year compared to his first two.
Travinski - lazy, apathetic

Pitching across the board has been extremely inconsistent.

As hard as it may seem he needs to continue giving these guys innings.

I’ll say Milam started slow in conference, but he has been serviceable since the Florida series. He’s not hitting the cover off the ball, but around .300

This is expected from our Juniors, not our true freshmen. Milam is going to be a problem if he continues to progress.

Travinski appears to have come back for the bar life

He has actually been ok as the DH but he is not a catcher

Herring and White are solid. Larson is doing well as a true Fr.

But it's slim pickin's after that.

wtf are you talking about? Did he not sign your t-shirt after a game or something?

He's had some weird personal vendetta against Hurd for a while now.

Jones is actually doing a little better than I expected.

He’s on an island alone right now. I can’t really fault him. And his defense is damn good.
