I would imaging it isn't hard for him to keep this in perspective. O has seniority and has been in this position before and was successful in an interim role. I certainly wouldn't take him getting the nod as an insult.

He realizes how valuable Aranda is I'm sure. He will have enough on his plate to deal with without worrying about the defense. Aranda and Jenkins will take care of all of that.

O promoted him to associate head coach and said he's going to "lean on him heavily".

Pretty obvious O doesn't hold himself above Dave and respects him.

We bend but don't break. If you have any reasonable offense, you win games with that kind of defense.

Yeah it's fine so far, but I'm a little worried how long you can rely on that before it burns you. We'll see.

Who gives a shite? Aranda came to coach defense and he's doing that. He actually got more title out of all of this.

However, if Aranda wants to remain at LSU I think he's got a real shot, provided he get's a fair interview.
He's got a contract for starters. Doesn't mean they will keep him but it does complicate matters.

been the best unit on the field, but 380 yards to Auburn and 8/19 on third downs to that crap offense is concerning. Nothing more, nothing less.

You don't think that seeing the lackluster offense didn't have an impact on how they played? Hard to give it your all when you know your counterpart won't be able to score.

I'd hope that they have enough pride to do well regardless but who knows. I'm willing to erase the first 4 weeks for the new staff changes.

Les didnt keep as many punters because they have to have an accent for him to consider keeping them. Another classic LM player evaluation tool.

They didn't help their own cause. They had a hard time making stops on third down.

Auburn only had something like 4 more minutes of TOP than LSU

They moved the ball until the redzone way too easily for that caliber offense.

AU's only problem is not being able to score in the redzone. Don't know why you guys think the entire offense is shitty especially when it far outshines your shitty O this season.

Auburn is ranked 6th in SEC in total yards and yards per game, 9th in total passing yards and yards per game, 3rd in total rushing yards and rushing yards per game.

LSU on the other hand is ranked 12th in total yards and yards per game, dead fricking last at 14 in total passing yards and passing yards per game, 7th in total rushing yards and yards per game.

Yet Auburn is the shitty team of the 2?
