The answer to the OP's question is probably different for each poster, depending on his/her interests. For me:

Football
Baseball

Wouldn't matter to me if we didn't even have a basketball team, since I simply don't care for the sport and never watch it.

that's damn near an entire generation that has known Tiger basketball to be at best inconsistent and at worst mediocre

In 2007 there were lines hours before to get student tickets for OOC games in the PMAC. That was after 1 (very good) season.

Give 2-3 consistent good seasons and basketball will outdraw baseball especially with the way that Mainieri structures his teams.

Football Women,s Basketball. I could care less about baseball but I am glad any time LSU wins in any sport.

Arkansas has won 5,342 consecutive men's & lesbian track titles in a row. Best believe they trade ALL that to beat LSU or bama in fb next year. We all love winners, and our baseball team makes me proud to be a tiger. It just doesn't carry a sliver of the importance that the big 2 do-and yes fb at LSU is clearly #1.

Well you're an idiot. LSU has such a legacy in basketball if it gets big again and baseball drops off then basketball will become more popular then baseball. I don't see that happening anytime soon, but it could one day. When basketball is good it's as fun of sport to watch as any besides football.

This.

Do people realize that the LSU basketball team once held the single game regular season attendance record?

Baseball will ALWAYS be bigger than basketball?

Let me know when a baseball game draws 65,000.
