I see that you drank the cool aid also? No way in hell this guy is even on the NBA scouts 2 rounds of draft. Right now he is non existant. You can only live off your high school resume for a short time. His time is up. It's time to shine and he is horrible right now.
His HS resume and his athleticism will get him Europe or D-League with an eventual roster spot.
Sadly that's enough for some kids.

Concerning his high school resume... did he have a high three point accuracy there?

Yes, he could absolutely stroke. Go look at some of his highlights.
And Skal Labissiere is projected a top 3 pick based on his potential and he's been even worse than Blakeney.

He could absolutely stroke AT WHAT PERCENTAGE?

I wish I had the opportunity to spend some time working with him on it. I know exactly what's going on and how to fix it without changing his shot at all. It's a simple execution issue. A few small matters and he'd be deadly from anywhere.

He's playing tight but still a volume shooter which is bad

He has always been a great shooter in the past. I think the couple bad shooting nights in New York has killed his confidence. Hopefully, he can turn it around soon. May only take 1 hot game to get his confidence back.

His actual jump shot? Or his shot selection?
I'll answer both.
His form is pretty sound, is elevation is incredible which makes his shot almost unblockable.
His shot selection is the worst on the team. Trying to get his points off of few touches leads to forced contested jumpers that are not falling, and I'm not shocked they are not.

He is a great shooter but he should drive the ball more so he can see his shot going through the basket to gain more confidence

Hope he stays another year to figure it out.

Not only didn't I drink the koolaid, I spit in it.. Sadly this kids plan (as per his family who sits next too me) was to be a one and done. He's got tons of pressure to be just that. Hopefully someone will realize and he stays put. But as of now they still think he's on track

well it might look ok but its broke as frick

He is an awesome midrange shooter especially at elbows. We have him focused to much on 3's IMO

He did have a short jumper from the right side of the lane last night. Looked sweet.

There is nothing fundamentally wrong, but it needs to be re-calibrated so to speak. He comes up short a lot.

How would you describe Antonio Blakeney's jump shot?
We really don't need him at all. Patterson is a much better player in every facet of the game. So are Hornsby and TQ.
The fact that the refs asked the coach to pull him at the end of the game should seal his fate as far as any professional basketball goes.
