These Orgeron years will be referred to as the pre-Frank Wilson era.

Fans would really melt on here if that does happen. Many were upset that he was even considered a finalist for the Tulane job.

Too bad O didn't have a competent RB Coach who should've made 100% sure that Guice knew the play-call and his responsibility during that time-out before the last play against UF

Why even call that play considering there were 12 guys in the box (mascot included)...and considering that quick toss got stuffed earlier in the game.

It was a goofy play call....spread them out and run Guice if you're deadset on a run play....or at least some pre-snap motion

even though JA pulled the trigger

The buck always stops with who pulls the trigger. I assume there were discussions on the hire just as I assume a staff has discussions on a game plan, but the buck stops at the HC and AD.

I think Alleva has been a disaster for LSU. The clusterfrick he managed starting with the Jimbo dream and ending with the O hire has been a mind blowing disappointment. That doesn't even include his basketball frick ups.

I think he should be fired today, but that doesn't mean I will not support his hires. It also doesn't mean I will not call the O hire process what it was...a shite storm frick up and the hire itself a major, major gamble for a program such as LSU.

As a defensive line coach who failed miserably in his attempt to build and run an SEC program, who was inexplicably hired as LSU's head coach despite having no other head coaching offers.

So basically the same.
