We should be worried about every SEC game and W VA. All are potential losses.

It will take complete efforts in every one of those games to have the season we are striving for.

All are equally dangerous games, in my opinion.

MSU just happens to be the next one, so it is the focus du jour.

Miles is as good as it gets at getting the team focused one game at a time.

We have a chance at a magical season.

Looks like the same old Miss State to me....different years, same results.

For LSU to win week in and week out, we need another playmaker receiver. Oregon took Randle out of the game with a redshirt freshman corner and a shading safety. LSU got him one important touch that was a key score...Oregon shut down his ability to catch in space. State knows that if they also do that, we have slimmer chance. Pretty simple, really...much better chance of beating LSU when Randle catches 2 balls for 20 yards as opposed to 7 for 125.

D'Angelo Peterson is without a doubt the #2 receiving playmaker, but a third man MUST arise out of either Odell Beckham, Boone, or Wright...even Landry. Shepard will be back by WVU, but he still has not proven that he can be as consistent as people want him to be. Even when he comes back and catches 4-6 balls per game, we will need a playmaker from the WR position. If we fail to do that, teams will all play to stop Randle. Force us to run. Make Lee have to either look at experimental playmakers or get so frustrated and bent out of shape that he forces balls to Randle.

This relates because I am worried that State takes him out and Beckham/Landry are not ready to make plays in their first SEC (road) game. I think Thursday, with 5 days prep, will be low-scoring and sloppy at times. We will need our best to beat State. They might have lost to Auburn on the road but they are clearly better than they were last year and after what they did to Michigan in their bowl game, the Dogs might have been playing with stark confidence had they won today. I guess as much as I dislike Auburn and want them to lose, it might hve worked to our advantage for State to lose and at the same time get beat up mentally and physically.
