By all accounts Harris and Jennings will be better than the Hatch/Lee/Jefferson that gave us two consecutive years below 30 ppg. If I had to make an educated guess.. LSU will average 29-31 ppg this season.
Which should be a potent enough offense to win every game on the schedule if the defense is good. Season will come down to leadership on offense and guys making plays in the clutch.

I think the offense lights it up this year. I think a lot of people are sleeping on this talented group. No, the skill position players aren't experienced, but they are very talented.

2013: 28.7 ppg
2012: 18.8 ppg
2011: 29.8 ppg
2010: 26.8 ppg
2009: 14.5 ppg
2008: 26.2 ppg
2007: 33.0 ppg
Considering that most of the ranked teams LSU has played have been from the SEC or teams like Oregon, WVU, Virginia Tech, etc.. I'd call it respectable at the very least. I believe it's about 1.5 ppg behind what Alabama has averaged against ranked opponents under Saban.. and that's largely because of 2009 being one of the worst offenses I have ever seen

when I say this offense could be explosive, I'm not just talking about bombs. I'm talking about fournette busting loose for long runs, magee breaking loose for long runs, our receivers turning short passes into long gains, and our TE's grabbing 20-30 yarders down the middle. Big plays from routine plays. The talent is there.
