How will we defend against De'Runnya (sp?)?

Will Tre White be on him all game with safety help or will it depend on where De'Rnunya lines up? Who matches up best with his 6'5" 220lb body?

It doesn't matter where he lines up....the key to the spread offense is make the defense show its hand by lining up your offensive formation......based on that formation, the offense looks over to the sideline to adjust and find FAVORABLE matchups!....no matter what Steele does on defense, they will try to get De'Runnya on a smaller DB by moving him or changing the play to create a "FAVORABLE" matchup.......

I don't think White follows De'Runnya around. LSU typically hasn't done that in the past.

I think obviously an effective pass rush will be the best way to keep him from having success. One thing I'd like to see though is Jamal Adams lay the wood on him as he's coming down with a ball (much like Eric Reid did to that poor guy in the popular .gif). I can't wait to see a big Jamal Adams hit!

Against USM he went for 2 rec 55 yds...... Just body him all game long and get him frustrated. That combined with keeping Dak tamed should do us wonders
