Greatest road trip I've taken so far, got to be on the field for the fourth quarter and before the game, never been that nervous before in my life, I could not have dealt with the gumps celebrating a win after that game, seeing the look on the students faces after the game was the highlight of my life, amazed by how many LSU fans made the trip without a ticket, we literally took over the houndstooth and the strip friday night before the game!! Best college stadium I've been in design wise, and the gumps didn't give me a hard time at all, thankyou LSUFT

fans were overall pretty decent. Some were so nice, I offered them sugar bowl tickets at face value

Dear big brother- please, please don't post pics of precious Sarah! There will be enough troubles when she arrives on campus. She's. Still getting LSU gifts for Christmas ! There is still time left for her to convert :)

We took over T-town. The bar scene on the strip was boring Friday night; and I thought the tailgate was very low-key (Bama tailgaters) for such a big game. Without LSU tailgaters, that place would've sounded like a funeral. I think they were in shock by all the Tigah fans. We were in an RV spot at JD's Mini-mart about 2 blocks from the stadium and we were closer to the action on the field than those fans in the uppers. Glad I held on to my $400+ dollars. But plenty of very pretty girls sporting boots was nice.

Great trip and really nice people. Everyone I encountered said good game or congratulations afterwards. Though I thought the hostility in the bars after the game was ridiculous...yeah you lost but why kick LSU fans out or make only LSU fans pay $20 and up cover.

too drunk to hold there liquor during the Game

What section were you in? I saw a guy puking on the ramp in section U-FF. He almost got his arse beat by the people that were at the bottom of the ramp! That was disgusting. This was my first trip to an away game and I have to say it was one thing that I can cross off of my bucket list. I still hate Bama but the fans were great. I won't hesitate again to go back again.

Same here...very pleasantly surprised by the graciousness of the fans...had a great time...only a few a-holes after the game.....did get to see this one big very drunk gump beat the shite out of 5 loud-mouth LSU students....swear to christ!!!! They were mouthing off and he waded right in and cleaned house...just stood there and watched my P/G brethren take their arse whooping...didnt want to spill my beer ya see...they deserved it and after all, it was Gumpy's house and he did warn them!!!!

I went in 09 and their fans were down right mean!! I'm hearing the opposite about this year. Does anyone think the reason they were so nice this year is because they now respect us?

I had a great time watching the game in the Ferguson Center (Bama's union.) Other than the occasional "corn dog" comment and some friendly chanting battles, the Bama fans were very pleasant before the game.

Afterwards, it was split. A lot of Bama fans saying "good game" and "Beat the shite out of everyone else," but a few to many "F*** you LSU's" were said than necessary.

Overall, a great road trip.

Best time I've ever had there. Fans were acting classier than usual.

I thought overall the fans were awesome. Only, as a few of you have said, a few students with the frick you.

However, we tailgated near campus dr and didn't have a ton of folks around us. Ron Brooks mom and sister hung out with us for a while. We fed most of the police in the area and were having a great time. Then the event staff decided they didn't want us to step in the street at all. Next thing we know they are calling for "event staff" back up. They start lining up like they are preparing for a riot or something. The cops show up and basically take our side since we weren't doing anything. After joking with us about the event staff and not bama fans giving us a hard time they told the event staff to back down.

The traffic getting out was the worst ive ever seen.

Insanely packed in some areas of the quad. Golfergate was epic right next to Denny Chimes.

I surprisingly felt that the majority of the gumps didn't act like gumps. Many of the fans I met were rather nice in fact.

Yeah, same here, before a few fans even told us "thanks for coming and spend some money" which was cool. After they were so quite we didn't start any shite with them; we only got cursed out by a couple of fine babes walking back to car-*&ck LSU and we hate LSU to that effect LOL, the Bama fans just snickered around them in disgust (from the loss)! BDS is pretty loud & intimidating but not as much as TS (@ nite) I think; but awesome win and time!!
