I seriously don't know how he came across as so composed other than when Sadie was talking?

Is it because he is actually wanting out? His mom and sister have died; he's 62 and perhaps wants more family time with the youngest especially?

Is it because he knows that he's leaving the team in good hands with the next hire?

Is it because he knows there's something else going on ie illness and has had time to 'adjust' to the situation?

Is it because he knows he'll be actually fired and $15 mil awaits?

No matter, I wish him and his family the best.

It's because he knows whats actually going to happen is

AD = Les Miles
HC = Jimbo Fisher
DC = Will Muschamp

and the trifecta will be complete

He knows that DALSU has spoken Jimbo as our next coach into being, and there's no sense in protesting.

So it must be done, as DALSU's prophecy foretold.

I love this quote. Anyone stop to think that even though he is gonna make alooooot of money that he actually is human?

yes money is great but I promise if any of us were in the same situation it would be tough to keep our composure. The man has seen his kids grow up here and has been a great part of the community. Of course I am sure it will be hard for him despite the money.

But by all means lets keep being snarky assholes to a man who has been nothing but gracious even with all the bs we have served him. some waranted and some not

I just seriously hope that nothing is "wrong" with him health wise.

I have been a fan since Archer and I guess this is hurting my heart as he's the longest tenured coach since I was a student. Here's to whatever his new endeavors are.

I agree. I hope that we don't rue the day that the admin let him go. If that's what indeed comes to pass.

The same way he stays composed when watching multiple false starts, delay of games, blown coverages, kicks out of bounds, etc.

Because he's a professional, and a good man.

Because he is a good man and a professional. Every one in the coaching profession knows this day comes for almost all of them. He got 11 years and a NC at a great place. I'm sure he doesn't want to leave but I'm also sure he is content as a man with who he is, and what he's done.

PS the money doesn't matter for these guys. No one gets into coaching for the riches. Definitely not the old timers. These aren't Wall Street business moguls.

He hasn't gotten to where he is now but not mastering composure.

Guess that's the difference between CEO types and the common man.

Him replacing Alleva would be awesome. He has been good to LSU.
