Our team just went flat when we got to 9 minutes to go in the second half. We were at 52 for God knows how long. Just piss poor shooting in the second

We play with no energy or intensity and that is partly a reflection on the coaching staff.

This team has no heart.

Yes it is! Ben out of control and forcing the shot or bomb a 3.

Its the job of lsu fans to freak out and want to fire the coach after every road loss to a top 10 opponent.

And piss poor defense throughout.

Tamu is really good, and it's because they are a very very good defensive basketball team.

We'd be lucky to beat them twice if we played them 10 times.

How can you not blame this on coaching? It looked like street ball. Absolutely no gameplan whatsoever

I guess you don't need a coach. Just let the players play, and if they miss shots, oh well, they just went flat. STFU! If you don't realize that guys can be coached to take effective shots on a regular basis, then……….

We likely lose that game with coach K on the bench, it doesn't mean Johnny Jones is not to blame for our performance. We are absolutely pitiful on offense and do nothing to create mismatches for our best players.

Stagnant shite offense while A&M is running a Princeton type motion vs. our man to man.

Not hard to see why they got so many good looks.

On 5 straight possessions we had ridiculously easy looks and didn't hit a single fricking one. 12 points left on the court. I think we shot below 20% in the second half and most of em weren't tough looks either.

How does one NOT blame a complete lack of game plan and any offensive plays at all on the coaching staff.

Remember CJJ's first year... That team played hard every game despite not being very good and having no size.

Maybe because at one point during the second half, the LSU offense consisted of 4 different players running straight into the teeth of a zone and just jacking up bullshite circus shots.

All of the players were pressing to make a play. Bad pass, forced shot. Just lots of bad decisions. It was a good game for 30 minutes, then the wheels came off.

I think it was more players pressing to make a play then bad coaching. Patterson missed a few shots he would normally drain, Quarterman made some really ill advised passes/shots, and Hornsby missed an open look all within about 5 possessions. That isn't coaching. Sometimes the shots just are falling and with a guard-heavy team on the offensive side of the court that's an insurmountable problem.

Johnny deserves blame a lot of times, but they had plenty of good looks down the stretch and just flat out missed them. That's not his fault.

The big complaint I had about JJ down the stretch was why didn't he pull Quarterman when he was sulking around and yelling at his teammates.

Please tell me what the game plan was tonight. Then, tell me what adjustments were made to the game plan when it wasn't working? We were not focused. We had lineup combinations that didn't work. That's on the coaching.

I'll give you the fact we missed some gimmies but the lineups made no sense.
