Glad to see you expanded on it.

Such knowledge. Q gets caught helping way too often and it gets him out of position.

I think your definition of "helping out" and mine are different....

"Q" as you say it goes for too many steals leaving he and his teammates exposed way too often. My definition of "helping out" includes sliding over to take a charge on the block or rotating on the kick-out when someone else slides over to take a charge. You mentioned that he "reaches" due to him "helping out"....which is ridiculous.

Tell me a little about your basketball background and I think we may be able to settle this pissing match.

We're a running team that uses a Hi-Lo in the half court. I would love to hear what you consider to be an "offensive identity"

The problem with the "Hi-low" (ridiculous) is it doesn't force the defense to work....period. There's not enough movement or screening. The motion offense screening away from the ball is what the best teams in college do and what we did when I played college bball....it's what Bobby Knight used for 20 years...it doesn't require any "plays" only the IQ to screen away and read screens.

When I say "identity" what I mean is they don't have a plan. They don't know how to get their best players the most shots....this is fundamental by even the simplest of minds. They play as if they're attempting to get everyone the same number of "tries"...like they're taking turns....like it's a concrete slab and a double rim inside a fenced playground.

No, that isn't what I said. Now you're jumping from a fallacious position to one where you create the argument for the other person. Lovely

More generic words with zero meaning or expansion behind it. You literally said nothing of substance there.

You know nothing. Try using your words to explain why the term "hi-low" is ridiculous.

And I'm a huge fan of the motion offense, but just because LSU doesn't run the offense you prefer does not mean that LSU has no "offensive identity".

I like how you can attack both man to man and zone defenses

Our guards help in the post far too often. This makes them run at defenders which leads to use of hands and being out of position. When the ball rotates around, it gets us completely out of position

So running at defenders makes you use your hands? As a perimeter defender (from experience) when my guy entered the ball into the post I was coached to "dig" (sort of play cat and mouse with the post guy) while I kept my eyes on my guy....when the ball was kicked back out I was coached to close out low so that my guy can't blow past me. AND....when I did get beat I wouldn't give up on the play (like "Q" does). I would stay alongside of the dribbler so that someone else could slide over and cut off the dribbler which would automatically create a "trap" situation.

No dumbass...I said "Q" which is what you call him....I'm the one that's saying he goes for too many steals....you're fricking retarded.

No, being out of position makes one more likely to use their hands. Do I need to spoon feed you?

Why don't you just come out and say what that experience actually is already? No one, but you, gives a damn.

How does this have no substance? They literally do not have a plan to get their best players the ball. You're telling me that there offense is the "hi-low" and I'm telling you that the Hi-low is not a very effective offense. And yes, theoretically you can use the hi-low to attack a man or a zone....and neither are very effective IMHO.

You're the one who failed to put together a coherent sentence. Let me quote it for you:

quote:

"Q" as you say it goes for too many steals leaving he and his teammates exposed way too often.

Congrats?

JJ played College basketball and has coached it for 30+ years.

Any more fallacies you want to throw out to support your inability to make an argument?

"Knight threw a nationally televised temper tantrum in the second half, storming the scorer's table and slamming down a telephone, and then, in the press conference afterward said, "I was worried about losing until I looked down the floor and saw Dale Brown. Then I knew we had a chance.""

We are all ultimately products of our own environment. Dale Brown is a great man and fantastic recruiter....but was a very poor basketball coach.

After you brought it up 10x and swallowed your own load with it.

But hey, congrats!

You literally brought it up to "settle" a debate. Too bad that your time in college didn't come with a philosophy 101 class.

We're ranked 250 in 3pt % and 267 in FT %. It's hard to pull upsets and win games down the stretch without these two. Outside of Hornsby we have no threat outside
