I had to explain that simply is not the case. If you donate to TAF then some of your money goes to his salary, still doesn't give you the right to try and fire him

That's what I tried to tell people. You made an investment. If you buy a ford truck, that doesn't make you part owner of the company and you don't suddenly have the power to fire joe from design bc you didn't like the new model.

Speaking as someone who did not attend LSU, I alsways say LSU will or LSU won..... I feel that you should only use WE if you played for, attended or contribute to the school in some way. I really don't think being a big fan such as myself gives you the right to say WE. I feel like the same goes for pro sports teams as well but this is simply my opinion take it for what it's worth.

Okay. At what point in life should you stop saying "we" if you aren't academically affiliated? A ton of people are raised to be tigers. Should we tell them to wait until the go to school there before they speak that way?

I don't think there should be qualifications to be a fan. Everyone who is a fan has ties and those ties qualify you. Being a fan isn't an exclusive club like some people suggest. IMO, you can say "we" if you're a fan and are referring to your team.

Getting upset about fans who use the term "we" is a way for immature people to feel important. I have heard people use this term when referring to sports teams my whole life. As an LSU grad, I've used it on occasion. There has never been any confusion as to whether I or anyone else was an actual member of the team that was being referenced. It is a figure of speech and nothing more.
