If Jones is retained, where will the meltdown on this board rank on the all time list of tRant melts?

Im expecting to see some suicides the way people have been going on and on and on and on about it. Im expecting to see enron type of reactions. Theres a new thread everyday similar to the last. It would be epic if he isn't fired.
I think they start these tbreads hoping higher ups sees them, but thr the Miles drama should otherwise tell you that...The more posts you make the likelihood he'll be retained ??????. We watched the miles show go on for what 4 years.

Ppl were begging to fire him since the day he was hired. The actual debacle over him being fired started in December of 2015 he was fired after the 4th game of the 2016 season thats less than a year. Try knowing what you're talking about and how to use proper punctuation.

No you jumped in not knowing what the conversation was about you are so busy at trying to just disagree to the point to where you are confusing yourself again try and keep up it started in 11 and blew up here after losing to Clemson again keep up no one talking about what played out after fisher turned lsu down and you can put punctuations wherever you feel fit grammar cop lmao

First off I read the entire thread. Secondly you said "the miles show" went on for 4 years. That's incorrect the Clemson game came after the 2012 national title so if you're referring to when most of the fan base turned on miles you're wrong about the time. And the actual "miles show" started in December of 2015 when his firing was stopped by King Alexander. Ppl have begged for miles to be fired for the entire time he's been here. The only time it was a possibility and created a nationwide mess was 2015. So either be more clear or get your facts straight. You asked a question I answered it. Being an arse doesn't earn you any points.

You can't clean this up...re read my post. It started when? And continued after what loss? Again we're not talking about the media did you see the number of fire miles posts here after the bama loss? Then quadrupled after losing in the chick fil a bowl on here?
Again you are trying so hard to disagree when you just repeated what i said while trying to disagree with me. (Not sure how you pulled that off but you did). Again unless you're in denial or hou are on something the Miles Show started on here before 2015.

By your logic the JJ show hasn't even started yet since the admin has been silent correct?

If you can provide facts about the post quadrupling after the Clemson game compared to after the natty loss I'll concede. But you won't be able to ppl still post about the Bama game all season long you'll get maybe 2 or 3 Clemson game comments per year and zero threads. Regardless if you were referring to the Clemson game you should've just said that nobody is going to assume that's the game you're talking about when you refer to when Miles lost the majority of his fan support.

From another board - rumor is TAF is saying he's staying another year

If this is true then things are really, really bad within the LSU administration...like 1992 bad.

If they keep him the fans are gonna have to revolt. I'm talking 400 or less attendance for home games. I know our admin is a joke but keeping Jones maybe the worst decision in the schools history.

if true, it will take a minimum of a decade to resurrect this program from the ashes.

nah...basketball is one of the easiest of sports to turn around due to the low number of folks on the roster. get the right combination of coaches and a few stellar players in the locker room and the whole thing will turn around in a single offseason. as soon as the team starts winning consistently, fans will come out of the woodwork

This is true one cycle of players with the right coach can turn a team around in one season. But keeping Jones puts us further and further away from this happening. It's harder to turn a team around in a power 5 conf and waiting another year will deplete the roster thru Blakeneys early departure as well as transfers and graduation. It will also steer recruits away from LSU. Look at what keeping him has cost us this year, the 5 star 7 footer from Chalmette is going to western Kentucky so is another 4 star guard from Madison Prep. Those are program changers especially the big man. He's the number 6 ranked player in the country and we won't get him. Alleva Alexander and Jones are burying this program and if we wait any longer the long term consequences will be inevitable.

Sorry, my mistake. I read it as "does he get fired before or after the game Wednesday." I guess I'm just fatigued with all these JJ firing threads that they've started to blend together.

To answer the OP, I honestly don't know, don't care, as long as it happens. And it will happen.

Fair enough. And no need for apologies. Sorry to be a dick.

I agree with you. It is very tiresome. Glad the end is near.

No quick enough. Should have been canned right after he was hired. Was a terrible hire from get go just because he was boys with Dale Brown and Collis Temple. What a joke! If he is kept it's because Alleva has no balls. Don't let someone like CT dictate our basketball program.

You do realize that this is dependent on Alleva planning for, negotiating, and actually make a decision.

Yep. Dang you Aleva.
