Honestly, I forgot he was even on the team. I remember he had a lot of hype coming out of high school, but he has never really had any meaningful playing time. However, I know Canada likes to utilize the fullback, so I was curious as to what role y'all think he will play this year if at all.

I wonder if he could lose some weight and add to depth at running back next year. Expect I can't remember who year he is

I hate to write him off, but he's probably done. A guy with his natural ability should at the very least be a special teams warrior. He has not been. That shows that he's probably just not tough. Maybe there is another explanation. He could have been injured or something. But I didn't hear anything like that.

I always thought his best position was Linebaker, but he may start at Fullback next year depending on recruiting. Mouton is an NFL Fullback waiting to reach his potential. He's just been buried on the depth chart.

With his size/speed ratio, he could be an outstanding H back type, which Canada has used often at Pitt.

I think we'll have to wait and see in fall practice and the season, because it was literally baffling the lack of usage some of the better athletes on the team got with the previous staff. Ducre included. So we can't judge if he's worth his salt yet due to the precarious situation with the old offensive coaches.

He is good, but I think Mouton is better. That being said, I kinda like how he is forgotten, maybe he will show up out of nowhere when we need him most.

For a guy his size he can fly. He's a special player. I'm just hoping he can find a way to play in Canada's offense.

In one of the recent spring games I remember he looked very good running the ball. I would like to see him more at running back.

Frankly, if the guy is truly a special player, there would be no doubt about his role next season.

LSU gets plenty of recruits each year that are great athletes but just never pan out on the field.

Often it's just better guys in front of them, but much of the time it is simply something between the ears.

Ducre is a freak. Must not be a great football player if he hasn't appeared yet.

I still have hope though. His size/speed combo is extremely rare (Devin White -ish but lighter).

He is a bit redundant w D Williams, who is better. So probably not much unless he improves a lot.

Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation is that he can't learn the playbook and/or his assignments, which totally nullifies any physical attributes he may possess.

Ducre is a warrior, his time will come. He wil definitely be needed after this year coming. Him and Brossette can do damage the next year.
