I'd offer no more than 750K. les can make up the difference and/or give him incentives based upon offensive/qb production to give him opportunity to make what he's been making.

I'm assuming les wants to keep him, and I'm ok with that as long as we don't pay him 1.5 mil.

Whatever the going rate is for an underperforming QB Coach, that's basically all he is

If Miles doesn't keep him he will not be setting himself up well with the fanbase the boosters. Everyone wants a change to the way the offense is run. We need a competent QB and we need to stop running at people who can stop the run. If we have the same problem next year as this year, Miles may be let go, if he ESPN doesn't boost him up again.

Better be less than what he's been making, that's for sure.

Cam will not be offered a paycut.

Watch him get a raise.

Does he have to settle for a fountain drink or can he upgrade to the lemonade?

I'll never understand this line of thinking. What difference does $750K make to your pocket? Shouldn't you just want the best coaches no matter what the cost? Why does money matter when you aren't the one paying it?

Fans put a lot of emotional and financial support in the program (many do).

They want to see a good return on their investment. It's natural to feel this way.

He is the highest paid OC in the country, that makes no sense. And someone is paying it, and it is a resource that shouldn't be wasted on friendship hires or non-productive hires.
