It also depends who we lose to, and the fashion in which it happens. If he goes 10-2 in the regular season with the only losses being a close one with Alabama(like in 2013), and maybe a lose in OT to Florida He would be fine as long as the rest of the wins were convincing. If he goes 10-2 with Alabama whopping our arse, followed by arky making us their bitch again, along with a bunch of playing down to our competition wins everything then becomes murky.

If he loses to Alabama by 13 he better win the natty because that's grounds for firing.

I meant like the 2013 game, not 13 points. Now that I think about it I think I mean 2012, not 2013. the one where they scored with the clock running out to win in BR. Not the one where Mettenberger crawled off the field.

We lost by 21 in 2013.

Our bama MO is lose heartbreakers at home and get blown out on the road. So prepare for a heartbreaker.

They make adjustments, although you may not like them. IE State was getting upperhand on LSU D in 2nd half and staff decided to run clock to get out with a W.

If no adjustments were made, I doubt 3rd would've been highest scoring by large margin.

I have a feeling a 4 loss (regular) season will be the end.

Expectations are very high, not winning the West will be a huge disappointment.

How much patience will fan base by Bloodworthhave for Les if the season is a disappointment

Losing a few games will not be the factor, I believe the way we play or the way we lose will be the determining factor. If we go 11-1 and win with a boring offense then he obviously keeps his job but if we go 8-4 with a boring offense and poor coaching then there may be a outcry from the fan base.

I really believe LSU fans are sick and tired of the predictable offense with two backs, tight end and 2 receivers most every play with the opposing defense putting 8 players in the box.

If Les opens up the offense and lets the team play and LSU goes 9-3 then he keeps his job,

dude, you are setting yourself up big time. this is one tough fricking league and anything can happen, good or bad.

i have been led to believe we have the most talented team in the history of organized football

there's your problem. do you have a brain? why must you be "led to believe". Jones led his followers to mass suicide in south America. you should learn to temper the hype surrounding football recruiting rankings and the media, esp national media, on how talented a team is.

It would have to be with THIS much talent... I just cant see this team losing 4 REG season games... Unless some serious injuries occur.

bullshite. Cant let this one slide by. Nothing personal against Miles. Just think he is not meeting expectations for what he gets paid. Hope this season is different.

For some, it is personal. I was at the 2014 Ole Miss game when LSU scored late in the 4th Quarter to seal a come from behind win. I saw disappointment, Dissappointment in the faces of some around me. They wanted us to lose so they could say "I told you so."

people act like he is the highest paid coach in the conference. I'm not even sure he's top five. I do know Sumlin is higher paid, and I don't hear Texas A&M fans saying if he doesn't win the national championship, he's out. This is a joke.

However, its all on Les to evolve and take team to next level.
actually it's on Miles to let his coaches coach and stay the frick out the way. Unless its a go for it or not type situation keep the mic away from his lips during a game

You see the same on this board every year. LSU wins and these so-called fans disappear...but as soon as LSU loses a game they come out of the woodwork to double their post count.

Remember some of the names in this thread because you won't see many of them once the season starts until we lose a game.

Their hatred for Miles is greater than their love for LSU....if they're even LSU fans at all
