I have sat in the Student Section consecutively since 02 and havn't missed a home game in that time period so this makes 11 years this year. (Yes I graduated in 5 years. No there's no trick to it I just happen to know students that still let me use their tickets.)

It's nice because it saves me money to get all of the away tickets (for face) over the past 11 years. Then I usually go but if for some reason I cannot I can always find somebody to use them. I would estimate I have been to 85% of all the away games since 02. All the SEC Champ games (03,05,07,11, all the bowl games, and of course the 3 BCS NC games, all for face value. In '10, I went to every game and in 11, I went to 13 out of 14 but sold my Miss State tickets (thursday night game).

Went to every game in '99 season, DiNardo's swan song. What a disaster that was. Enjoyed seeing the stadiums but we lost every road game.

Did it in college several years with a handful of road games tossed in.

1994-2000.

Bama and UGA for gameday environment

Auburn is vastly underrated when they are good.... Gets louder in there than Bama.

I think Kentucky is the best trip with Keeneland and bourbon tours.

Wow. I remember listening to the lsu games with my dad with Hillard and James in the backfield and Jeff wickersham as the qb. I actually got really interested in 86 and remember watching the lsu Ohio state game on tv I believe. Was a hardcore fan in 1988. I remember sitting in the car with my dad after a dance at school and hearing tiger stadium roar after hodson threw the td to Eddie fuller against auburn.

I've been to every home game since I have been able to work legally (16) then 5 seasons as a student (Masters Degree no 5th year senior here)... Last home game I missed was oregon state 2004. 2006 was the most games I've attended. I went to all home games, Florida, auburn, and Notre Dame.

Years ago preceeding Jim Hawthorne, was John Ferguson. I'm not putting down on Jim, I enjoy his calls. You just have to not hang on every word as the play unfolds. Action is fast and so much is happening, I cut him some slack. But I use to love hearing John Ferguson Maybe because he was the first voice i remember as a kid. J.C. Politz preceeded him during my time, but I just don't remember him much. But John just prior to away game kickoffs would describe the scene to the point of telling the listeners things like. "The Gators are dressed in white pants, blue jerseys, and orange headgear. The tigers gold pants, white jerseys, and gold headgear. When he would call the games it use to bother me when I was a young kid that he called the game with the same excitement for both teams. If just say the Gators scored, he would call it in the same tone of voice as when the Tigers scored. I use to think that he should show some remorse when the opponent scored. Silly but I was a kid. I just enjoyed listening to his voice, because when I heard it, I always associated it with LSU Football. It's not the same for kids so much anymore. Prices are so that a dad can hardly bring his kids to games like when I was young. High School and younger tickets were $1. My dads tickets were $3. There were few games on TV, and very seldom was LSU. The radio WAS the game when the Tigers were away. We'd all sit there watching the radio, watching the game play out in our heads. It was a great time.
