My dad began taking my brother and I when I was 6 years old. So from 1957 to 1974 I missed 3 games. I gave the reasons in the earlier post. Dad transferred the tickets to me in 1983. I'll be 61 when this season begins. The period from 1974 to 2002 without missing a home game bothered me because like I said there was a game or 2 that I felt like I didn't want to see, but went just so I wouldn't miss a game. Crazy I know. So just for the hell of it I skipped the MSU game in 2002 just to break the streak. The game was on TV 11:30 game. Big mistake missing that game because I haven't missed one since. But it got that monkey off my back where I felt I couldn't miss a game. So this year will be my 56th season to watch the Tigers play. Want to know who played in the Tigers backfield my first season in 1957? Jimmy Taylor lol...thats going way back.

I made every game LSU played from mid 2002 till 2009. I also made every game from 1997-1999. After the last game, my passion has left me to ever do this again.

Missed two last year - the Thursday night game at MS State and SEC Championship game.

This should be the year for me to make them all. I've got hotels booked in all four "road cities" and tickets to all but A&M.

It was awesome to go to WVU and take them down in what they were hoping would be the best home game in their stadium's history.

Also was awesome to take the Gumps down at their place and have all their fans congradulating us and telling us to win the national title. One of their fans who was arguing with me after the game was trying to lay a guilt trip on me that "LSU is going to ride that thug QB to a national title."

In the stadium? Or gameday?

UF and Auburn take the cake inside the gates.

Bama and UGA for gameday environment.

Do I remember watching Jimmy Taylor? Nope.
Cannon Yes. Because dad would take us to Alex Box to watch practice, and point him out. So I remembered to be sure and watch him during games.

There must be several people with impressive home attendance streaks. And I sure do admire those with the home and away streaks.

My close friend had a home attendance streak that started in 1975. He missed his first home game because of Katrina. He has not missed one since. One game in thirty five years is impressive.

The closest I've come is making all but one in 2003, including the SECCG and the BCSNCG.
