How many NC's can you claim in your lifetime?

I only bring this up because I hate that the younger generations still claim that their respective teams have all these championships yet have only experienced a few of them. For Instance, the GUMPS. Being From Pensacola I know all too well that those BAMA fans are just irritating. But in Short I can claim 3 as a gator fan and alumni. Go Gators c/o 07"

We talking just football? Then 2. Of the so-called "big three" sports, then 8 (2 football + 6 baseball). Of all sports, I've lost count (so many track titles . . .).

I bet you think the only way to be a real fan of a school is to go to school there or be an alumni too.

I can claim 9. 6 baseball and 3 football. Probably some T & F championships too but I'm too lazy to go look that one up.

I'm not so sure lifetime really matters either. Michigan has won 4 in bball, football and hockey since I was born but I wasn't a big time fan of Michigan sports until I actually started going there in 2005. So I think it should be limited to when you actually started watching or going to the school.
Since I started caring about Michigan sports we have won 0 championships and more importantly have not beaten Ohio State in football. The Saints winning the Super Bowl mostly makes up for it.

Unless you actually played and contributed, if you claim any, you can claim 'em all. What's the difference? I am no more responsible for the ones in '03 and '07 than I was for the one in '58.

I hear you, I'm not that much older than you. It appears that we are off to a pretty good start. I cant stand all these gumps claiming NC's that nobody can remember
