70 years young. Lived in the North Stadium dormitory. Claim to fame, was a freshman when Pistol Pete was a freshman.

Bunch of feisty Cajun boys we had on those teams. Used to always be 8 or 9 helmets swarming to the ball with those great defenses.

65. First LSU Ole Miss game as a student was the ‘72 win. LSU was pretty lethargic until the 4th quarter. The roar on the touchdown at the end of the game has to be among the loudest moments in the stadium. May not have caused an earthquake, but it was close.

I'm 71.

First game was 1958, we beat Duke 50-10 or something close. My only memory from that game was a wheel route from Rabb to Cannon that went for a 60 yd td.

Went to high school with Bevan, one tough mofo.

Yep. Dr. Tommy Casanova was one of the best to ever put on P&G and was fun to watch.

To cross the river it was all ferries except for the Huey P Long Bridge. Cokes were a nickel and gas was 19 cents a gallon. The elephant at Audubon Park was named Itema and Sears Roebuck in NewOrleans had a freezer in the basement with glass top with giant hog in it that had to see every time we went to town.

Yes I am and Joe Burrow is the most complete quarterback in modern day history to wear the purple and gold.

The thing I remember most about Casanova, and you never this these days, was that when he was back to receive a punt and was on the 10 and going to let it go over his head he would stand there and when the other team's Gunner ran to down it he would absolutely level them. There many times I wondered how the other guy got up ( some didn't right away).

I wonder why you never se that anymore.

Sammy Grazaffi(?), Art Cantrell, Joe Labruzzo.

Bert Jones and Paul Lyons split time at qb.

Tulane was in the SEC.

Hokie Gajan was a running back at Baker High.
