He lost his cool. That's on him, especially for a senior leader, to not do. Hitt was at fault 100% for his actions and they were inexcusable and cost the team any shot.

The fact is that yes, we could've had a shot to get into FG range, but you are acting like it was automatic. Furthermore, you are acting like a 50 yard FG in those conditions is automatic. I don't care how great a kicker is, it's not in those conditions largely because of the issues possible with the snap and hold.

He wouldn't have lost his cool had the refs called the correct penalty to begin with. The refs actions were inexcusable and capped off a season of atrocious ref calls.

It's not automatic but our kicker was magic.. and we didn't lose the game on that play.. we lost the chance to win. On a sloppy field like that anything can happen and it's unfortunate that the refs took that chance away.

Again, if if's and but's. There is no "if they called it initially" in this case. They didn't and he stupidly and inexcusably lost his cool. He fricked up and cost his team.

So either you are related to, dating, or friends with Josh Jasper, because while he was a great kicker, he missed his share of FGs both long and chip shots. Sorry that I don't consider him automatic, but reliable for sure.

In the end, it was a loss, but took nothing away from the team's season. Les has still won 5 games to 1 loss in bowls which leads the SEC over the last 6 years.

LSU didn't lose that game because of poor officiating or the field. PERIOD. The better team finds ways to play in the conditions, but like many LSU fans, when LSU gets punched in the mouth and doesn't adjust, it's because of the field, the refs, or some other excuse.

Les and company did a poor job coaching in the game. PERIOD. Both teams played poorly actually.

5-1 is a great record in bowls, and LSU fans should be proud of Les and the team for that, but for the love of God stop with the LSU got jobbed by the refs bullshite.

The refs should've likely called delay of game on PSU, but that didn't give the LSU OL the right to go and start dragging the PSU player by leg like he did. They called the right penalty in that situation and the only one LSU has to blame for that is themselves. PERIOD.

oh STFU

Oh really? You have? I've never seen it.

Oh and you don't even know me as I just started posting recently and have numerous times in this thread alone given Les praise for his team's bowl performances, but of course your attacks wouldn't mean anything if you actually applied facts to them.

I don't fault Hitt for doing what he did because he atleast did something that hopefully would have got us a chance to stop the clock.

If the PSU guy continues to delay the gameuch linger we have basically lost our chance to win anyways.

I don't really understand Hitt recieving much croticism as his reason for doing what he did seemed justified in that situation.

Yo Raparooot...what's also impressive to go along with the 5-1 record... the TOTAL on the scoreboard!

214-85!!! Basically 35-14...could have easily been more

*Miami 40-3...a brutal trashing/won fight near locker-room too!
*Notre Lame 41-14...game never in doubt
*Ohio State 38-24...late garbage TD made game appear closer
*Georgia Tech 38-3...a TD taken away could've been 45-3
*Penn State 16-17
*Texas A&M 41-24..TD taken away >>>Want to talk about "robbed"...still not sure what happen with TD takeway for Tyrann Matheiu in 4th qtr??

but games aren't always played on perfect fields or in perfect weather.
So you'd categorize that field (one which, in slightly better condition, ended the career of a UM player a few days before), as "not perfect". Goodness gracious fellow, by that assessment I guess you'd characterize living conditions in a Somalian Refugee Camp as "not perfect"? Did you even watch the game?

the ref comment i made was a little sarcastic. but i still believe that if we play that game on atleast a decent field we win by 2 TDs.....and nobody can change my mind about that

when your 155 pound kick returner (and fastest guy on the field) sinks 6 inches on his first step than something is wrong
