How many coaches have gone 5-1 in bowls over the last 6 years?

Les is in some good company with those stats. If the shitty field and the refs hadn't dictated the Penn St. game, who knows Les could be 6-0.

Why is it every time LSU loses a game It's the refs fault?

That game was so miserable (I was there) that I didn't really even care about the result. My friend who is a Penn St. fan, and I were just laughing at the ridiculous nature of the game.

Because somehow the refs penalized us for trying to keep the other team players from delaying the game. and we lost by two with time running out and and getting 15 yards personal foul for pulling a man off of our QB.

i was actually shocked there were no injuries. I believe a Miami player had his career ended on that field the week before

LSU didn't lose that game because of poor officiating or the field. PERIOD. The better team finds ways to play in the conditions, but like many LSU fans, when LSU gets punched in the mouth and doesn't adjust, it's because of the field, the refs, or some other excuse.

Les and company did a poor job coaching in the game. PERIOD. Both teams played poorly actually.

5-1 is a great record in bowls, and LSU fans should be proud of Les and the team for that, but for the love of God stop with the LSU got jobbed by the refs bullshite.

The refs should've likely called delay of game on PSU, but that didn't give the LSU OL the right to go and start dragging the PSU player by leg like he did. They called the right penalty in that situation and the only one LSU has to blame for that is themselves. PERIOD.

Yep, they sure did. The quality of the game was just miserable though. We lost fair and square, but it wasn't really that frustrating because the entire thing was so shitty.

I guess North Carolina was jobbed as well then right? Since we are playing fair, or does it only count when against LSU?

I am not saying we were completely screwed. BUt come one we were driving and got a 15 yards penalty for no reason at the other teams 45. In a game we lost by 2 points. It was an intentional screw job, but it was a fricking aweful call, and if you don't think it changed the outcome of the game and it doesn't piss you off, then your too PC of a fan for my taste.

Nobody can blame the OL for being frustrated at Penn St blatantly breaking the rules with no call from the refs at the end. That's ridiculous. He lost his cool and we got flagged.. had the refs done their job he never would have touched the player. Penn St was intentionally delaying. Then the refs fricked up with a no-call. Then LSU fricked up and got flagged. In that order.

I'm not saying we would have won the game.. but damn, the refs stole the chance for a last minute come back. Just like PP7 vs Alabama. Had that same OL (was it Lyle Hitt?) pushed a Penn St player no flag would have been thrown.

People seem to forget that we had the lead with a minute to go While we're on the topic of refjobs.. this has absolutely nothing on the arse rape we got from the refs against Ole Miss (the 'clock it' game), we got screwed.

This. Everything else sucking kinda made the loss not hurt so much in comparison. The field having to be put back together at halftime? Ridiculous. It was disgusting.

You really think we make a 50 yarder on that shite field? Hell, you think we even get a chance to kick a field goal with Les and JJ's clock management?
