I worry a lot more about an NFL team calling him for an OC job rather than a school calling for a HC.

Do you honestly think he didn't already have NFL offers before coming to LSU?

If Hoke doesn't do better than squeaking by Akron, Meeeshigan will call someone in a couple of years.

I find it hard to believe we were the only team to reach out to him. Hes here because of Les. Hooe he sticks around. Les is loyal, NFL is not.

As long as he keeps making over a million a year(which starts next season), he's not going anywhere

I'm pretty sure he was banking $6 Million a year with the Ravens. $1 Million a year with LSU is just keeping him afloat right now until he gets another gig in the NFL. I hope we keep him for at least 5 or 6 years but that's doubtful.

forever. When Leslie retires, hire Cam as head coach, get a hot-shite NFL defensive coordinator, promote Frank Wilson to Asst. HC and pay him a mill large, and away we go.

Some of you people are ridiculous. You know whats better than 1 million dollars a year? 5 million dollars a year.

Do you think anyone would stay at a job for a million a year because they're loyal? That's not a lot of money. If the money comes knocking, anyone of those assistants are gone.

Can you imagine being offered 2 times your salary? would you reject that because you like your boss?

Not at this rate. The NFL will come calling within 2 years IMO.

ETA: I really really really hope I'm wrong.

The NFL knows exactly what he can do, and no doubt he is a good NFL OC. This was his choice though. He wants to be here, it wasn't his only option.

Why do we always have to do this crap? We ship all of our juniors off to the NFL all the time too. Stop.

I imagine Cam will be here for a long time . He has been there done that in the NFL, getting bank coaching college kids with his bud les. I doubt it gets better than this for cam . Just my two cents

depends on the situation, 5 years at my salary in a place I like to live may be quite a bit better than 2 years at double my salary in a shitty location/situation. There are NFL assistants who wouldn't leave an organization like the Steelers to work for Jerry Jones at double the pay.
