Heisman is as much of a player popularity award as it is performance related.

Right now, it's a really just a 2-man race between Penix and Caleb Williams. I think Brock Bowers is still a sleeper if Georgia can keep him rolling. The best player on the best team pretty much always gets an invite.

Crazy how far Daniels's odds dropped after the loss even though he put up crazy numbers on the road at Ole Miss. Looks like he's 2nd in total yards: 1710 passing + 292 rushing = 2002 yards total.

Total Offense:

Penix: 2008 (1999 + 9); 16 Total TDs
Daniels: 2002 (1710 + 292); 19 Total TDs
Sanders: 1738 (1781 - 43); 17 Total TDs
Williams: 1686 (1686 + 83); 24 Total TDs
Gabriel: 1688 (1593 + 95); 19 Total TDs
Bo Nix: 1546 (1546 + 87); 16 Total TDs

Going to shop around and put another small bet on Daniels Heisman at +4000 (pre-season +2000). +4000 on BetRivers, +3500 on FanDuel.

eta: And as others have pointed out. Sanders is not in the Heisman discussion according to Vegas.

Our schedule is also astronomically harder than colorados

Dude have you seen where the Pac-12 teams are ranked?
Those offenses out there are turning it up. USC, OU, WSU, OSU, Utah. they are lucky they don't have UW.

Now the Pac12 defenses are pretty bad....but so are the defenses that we play except for Bama and A&M. The SEC is down this year no doubt. I wouldn't say the Buffs schedule is harder than the Tigers.

1. He’s not.
2. Media slobbish on the Colorado knob

Colorado and LSU both 3-2

Sanders- 1781 yards, 74% completion 15 TD 2 INT

Daniels- 1710 yards 73% completion 16 TD 2 INT

What are you basing your outrage on? Here are the odds from MGM. Daniels' odds are significantly higher than Sanders.

As they swallow ESPN tells you how America has tuned into college football because of Prime. It is the most coordinated marketing effort among all MSM I have ever seen.

USC got a call at halftime and it said, "Get off of the gas. You are destroying our narrative." They could not do that to Oregon due to the NIKE advertising revenue.

He was absolutely not in the Heisman race after the Bama game last year.

He could be in it this year, but he won't win because LSU simply won't be good enough.

Who was the last Heisman to throw 17 touchdowns?

It's a moot conversation because Penix and Williams are the likely winner
