He was playing in absolutes. This scenario doesn't prove him right. Most people agreed that winning the SEC negates OOC struggles. The problem is when that doesn't happen and those OOC games get looked at more closely. And that's still true for teams like Arkansas and Kentucky who are on the hosting/seeded fringe.

What Matt stated was if you win 20 games in the conference your probably gonna win the conference and host. That's y you shouldn't freak out about mid weeks. Handle your conference and your fine that's what he was getting at.

If he said it that way, yeah. But all he harped on was that midweeks don't matter. Period. He said that weeks ago and at that time no one could say how much importance they'd have by the end of it. Again, this doesn't make him right in hat regard. But he'll surely claim it does.

I know there's a few that can't stand Scona but I enjoy his show even if he's a little arrogant.
Regardless, This guy has been confident that the team would turn it around going all the way back to before the Arkansas series. You have to give him props for sticking to his gut and looks like the midweek losses aren't gonna matter. Sorry!!!

I loved on Monday last week after the auburn sweep how he shite on everyone bitching about the mid week games. I was laughing in my car the whole time...nailed it

He said auburn was nearly a national seed lock before he Bama sweep. Which wasn't true. Their RPI was 18 before those games. Guy is a retard when it comes to baseball.
