I don't know what is crazier to read in this thread....the people that can watch Tiger games at a "party", or the people that can't watch at all. Even if we are losing...I have to know how we are doing.

I will only have three maybe four over on Saturday to watch the game. They all have the same level of commitment that I do...it's not "just a game", and they want to win...but are realistic.

Everyone thinks I'm weird because I prefer to watch alone. Although, I've loosened up quite a bit since the 2011 embarrassment. I no longer take it as serious and it is so much more enjoyable now.

I spent most of the second half of the FLA game standing on my coffee table. Don't know how I got there, but the tv is mounted kinda high, so it just felt right.

What's the fun in watching the game alone? Don't get me wrong, I've got a select group of friends that I prefer to watch the games with, usually at someone's house, but there's nothing better than watching a huge win in a big crowd.

So was my dad. And I would give anything in the world, except the health or well being of any of my kids or remaining family, to be able to watch one more game with him, and entertain his every gripe, bitch, and complaint and smile and tell him how much I appreciate his wisdom. Perspective, my good man.

Yep me too. But my dad was a total Posi tiger, he put it inside of me as well. I really wish he was here in the flesh to watch this one. I pray we win, and I have been gettins some subtle signs all weekend that we will. Time will tell tho.

But for BAMA i will be watching about 5 feet from the tv all by myself...just the way I like to do it.

I will start out on the couch, but end up standing and pacing most of the night right in front of those 65 inches.

I refuse to watch the game with anybody who will come in and ask "what's the score?" or any stupid questions for that matter.

The only reason I like to watch games by myself (or with another diehard) is so I can focus better and so I can rewatch specific plays, freeze frame to see funny people in the crowd, relisten to a tidbit from the announcers, etc. I love to immerse myself into the game in terms of schematics, fanfare, formation adjustments, and such, and would feel like a party pooper if I controlled the DVR that much with a bunch of people. It's one of the few times in life when I subdue my extroversion, and prefer it.

However, watching a game with a bunch of diehards is an absolute blast.

Can only watch with a few trusted individuals. I break up with my gf every year before football season, going on 9 years. I invite others over for pregame food and drink but let them know theyre not welcome for the game. Its bad, but its what i want. If i cant be at home for a game, i like to watch in Harry T's parking lot.

My oldest son just turned 18 ask him about the most memorable moment of me during LSU football. It won't be the SEC championships or National championships. It was the time debacle when we lost to ole miss. The remote control was launched across the living room and the 4 letter f bomb was shouted in a Gladiator tone for the whole world to hear. Sad to admit it but won't deny it. He still loves me

Alone, with family and friends txtin me after good plays LSU makes. And I bought a 4x8 sheet of Sheetrock to punch, instead of my living room wall.

Exactly! I want to be alone with the TV volume on and my radio with JH doing play by play. For me, this game is not a social event.

Don't really care how I watch it. As long as I get to hang with family and/or friends, I have fun.

If I am in control of the scene, the TV is definitely muted, with music in the background.

For Bama games, unless I am at the stadium, I will quit watching after the 7th bad call. I always give it that many chances. Once it hits over 7, it becomes too WWE for me.

Last year, for example, I was at the game. I had to stay until the end due to having gone to the game with someone. I wanted to leave after the 15 yard penalty (that was the 8th bad call by my count at that time).

That will be the last Bama game I attend in person. LOL Glad I didn't pay for the ticket.

Just me and my good friend Sailor Jerry. For the lesser games I don't mind being around people. For Bama the phones will be off and the volume will be cranked up.

No way. My wife asks a million questions and calls helmets "hats" and uniforms "costumes."

Backporch:

I can yell, cuss, drink heavily, etc and it doesn't hurt anyone.

Unfortunately, I'll be at a wedding in Charleston, SC.
