He is a good rebounder who can bang but he also has a lil shot like u saw in the video. That was before Arizona and at that time he was trying to become a guy who could step out and shoot the three.

Yea, but the "freshmen" argument doesn't work in basketball. Every quality team in the country has very young guys starting.

I mean I don't know what you guys were expecting. They have talent, but are not fundamentally sound, and still can't run a real play when they need to...street ball, poor free throw shooting, out of control....and very talented.

I don't know who they lost to, but NC State already has 2 losses....not sure how much "quality" they have.

The Freshman thing is a joke....

Man, are you serious? They are mostly young and have 2 starters out right now. They will be deep and good. 3 freshman adjusting to college.

CJJ was pushed on this program by Dale Brown. No way we should have hired a coach whose success came at N Texas. Great recruiter but poor coach...sounds like Les!

5…..Not overly disappointed. This team is talented and will gel by the time conference play rolls around. Not surprised by the 2 losses, though both were there for the taking. But not nearly ready to bash Jones and I expect us to be relevant come March.

Ok? we just lost to 2 teams that we should have beaten.

That's cool.

We're missing 2 starters and Simmons is unbelievable.

We'll be good come Feb.

9. 0-2 here was bad. Marquette is a bad team. Same problems again. This year is as good as it will ever be with jones. Will be a fun year but it is tough to watch him coach.

Well...I didn't expect 2 losses at this point....but...I will say that they show brilliance at times. Very streaky. Came back from double digit deficits in both games....and were there at the end in both games. I think the talent is obvious. Blakeney had a bad weekend. That is unusual for him, and they won't be all bad. Glaring weakness is the inside game...but if our perimeter is on like it can and should be, we should score enough to compensate. (Again, Blakeney doesn't often have games like this...or at least his history doesn't demonstrate that.) Victor and Hornsby will be helpful. We are basically playing without two starters and still in position to have won every game we played. Once this team is complete, and gels, look out.

No halfcourt offense. Simmons is great but he cant do it by himself.

6.75

we are a 3 point shooting team now, we gonna miss more than we make this year.

Enough already about Simmons being best player in nation, and makes everyone around him better.

If that's the case he better start showing it. Looks like all he wants to do is pass, I say hell suit him up and let him take #6 place this weekend.

On a scale of 1-10.
Not as disappointed as I am in your post.

Young team. Missing starters. Two close losses. We'll see.

Not at all. This isn't football, we can loose a few games and really I prefer to see them happen now. Idt Jones is a great coach but even he can't hold this team back. They'll gel, settle down, and find their game. It's going to be an awesome season ppl, enjoy!

Hornsby is the x factor for the team.
